Waterfront Hotels

Extremely comfortable and a good stay over. Very central. Value for money. However the undersized duvet cover is a joke and it would be nice if the veranda could be cleaned.

We wanted to be close to the CTCC for a function and we could not have landed a better deal if we tried! We loved this apartment, it is quiet and very nicely furnished, very spacious and we were welcomed by the nicest bloke, Hezron, who was vert professional and helpful for the duration of our stay. We were so close to the venue, which made it nice to have a few more than we probably should have and get home and have a comfortable sleep on the amazing beds!

Excellent location and most all the staff we met were incredible and a real asset.
The rooms are nice, but lack the finish and quality of a 5 star establishment. Lots or marks, dent and stains etc, leaky shower, draws that don't close properly and a broken window lock that was particularly concerning. Also, the pool was in dire need of some TLC.
Overall a pleasant stay, but need to maintain the quality of the rooms/pool area a bit better.

The Dock House was a delightful place to stay in Cape Town — spacious and well-appointed rooms in a charming and historic building, good location and with excellent service. Ashley our host was delightful — engaging, knowledgeable and took great steps in ensuring a wonderful stay. Be sure to ask him stories about the history of the Dock House.

Great location, and apartment was great exactly as described in the details. We were there for a wedding so had several apartments. All different as they are privately owned. Went to the cafe or the one and only for breakfast each day, recommend both.

We had a three night stay in a two bedroom apartment on the first floor. The apartment was well maintained and the decor was acceptable. Beds were top quality and the kitchen has ever modern appliance you could wish for. Bathrooms were modern and showers very spacious. Nice touch with complementary welcome bottle of wine. A gem in the V&A Waterfront within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights during our trip around south Africa, there were only 4 rooms in the building we were in, they were exceptionally spacious with a fantastic bathroom and views up to Table Mountain. The hotel is literally a 2 minute walk around the corner where you have breakfast and there is a wonderful bar area with a balcony looking at the waterfront and the mountain. There was a small outdoor pool with a few loungers and a gym.

From start to end this hotel was sublime. Given a warm welcome, luggage taken care off and a drink upon arrival. Followed by being shown our stunning room. The rooms are beautiful. The location is right on the waterfront and easily walkable to lots of places. Easy ubers to other main sights. The view of the mountain at breakfast or an evening drink with the sunset capped it all off. Thanks for a great stay.

Lacks atmosphere. Food good but slight lack in service. It wasn’t bad service just lack of interaction with clients.

Staff is very helpful, the hotel is very nice and neat. Rooms are big.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Staff were attentive and rooms were well adorned. Really value for money! Also, if you can get views of table mountain, it’s really pretty on clear days!

We had a really great week here, attentive staff, responded quickly to any requirements, had a few utility requirements that were attended to swiftly. Not to mention, great location and decent breakfast with great staff serving great coffee!

High Tea was excellent. Service was top notch.

A most service centred hotel I've visited in Cape Town. The staff are all extremely welcoming and helpful. The guests are treated with great care and appreciation. The standard family room was larger than all other rooms from other hotel groups. The cleanliness of the room surprised us. The hotel has a great Kids activity room and programme. The concierge team are exceptional. All call for any assistance was treated with the treated with the most urgency.
