Hotel looks very modern, rooms are good size. Furniture is sometimes ripped. Pool on top of the building is nice and has a good view.
We stayed in Ilunion Barcelona for 2 nights, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a 17-20 minute taxi ride from the airport, and it's technically in an industrial estate. The reason why this is good is because it's a little bit quieter, not as many tourists around, it's a 5-10 minute walk to the (stunning) beach, and it's a 15 minute walk to a stretch of excellent restaurants and bars.
Lovely big room, clean and with good air con. Staff very friendly. Room service was good, regular cleaning to a good standard. The location is great near to the beach with lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. I would recommend and would definitely stay there again. Nearest metro station is only 10 minuted walk.
