Perivolos Apartments Apartment

Now 8 years that I come every year! I recommend it for those who need total rest. The air that you breathe is between that of the sea and of the mountains. Great service over all! my impairment is 10, the maximum!

Perivolos is a lovely, lovingly-run little hotel in one of Albania's top beach resorts, Dhermi. From the first contact, we were impressed by the great attention from the manager/owner, Manthos. He speaks excellent English, Greek and Albanian (on the last I presume), and there's Fabian for English, German and Italian.
On arrival, we were also impressed with the cleanliness of the whole facility and particularly by the care about details from the whole crew.
The room — a double bed — we had was spacious and, again, clean, clean, clean. Plenty of towels, laundry at the hotel at a very fair price, a small, but pleasant pool with a beautiful view of the sea below which proved itself perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach.
The restaurant, overlooking the pool and with an even better view, serves breakfast — not a vast choice on offer, but well prepared and sufficient, as well as lunch and dinner. We ate the latter there several times and it was as good as in the town.
There is a large parking area behind the hotel and more space on the concrete plateau next to it.
The beach is some 500 meters straight downhill along a somewhat dusty path — a 13-minute hike for us, but it is steep and a long walk uphill, especially in the heat. The street goes around some, so it's a longer walk, but less steep.
We had a motorbike, so it was no issue and it is a far more comfortable option for reaching the sea to have own wheels.

Great view and spotless clean rooms.

We booked 2 rooms for four days and paid in full months in advance. Due to travel issues we arrived one day late. The hotel canceled our reservation without even a call or email and instantly gave our rooms away AND kept 100% of our money for the four days! The owner claims it was because of our booking agent (not true) and also that he only kept a portion of our money, however we have paperwork and bank statements that dispute this and are fighting to get it back because they refuse to reimburse us for the three days we didn't spend there. Even after they canceled our reservation (and had to frantically search for new accommodations) we were happy to pay for the first night which we didn't stay, but the owner has kept ALL four days worth. I do not recommend this hotel solely on the fact that management is unpredictable and unreliable. Unless you're willing to be in the middle of Albania scrambling for a place to stay last minute with far less money than you started with I would suggest looking elsewhere. (If the owner finally returns our money for the three unused nights I am happy to amend this review to reflect that)

Amazing apartments! Such a lovely atmosphere, beautiful setting and friendly staff! We spent a wonderful week here and have created some lovely memories. Rooms were fantastic, including very comfortable beds. The food was very well cooked and the beer was cold and cheap! Thank you to Manthos and Fabio (not forgetting the cook) for a fantastic week in stunning Albania.

The staff is amazing the pool amazing the room good the view good.

A simply stunning location surrounded by all the nature you could possibly need. Mountains, forest and crystal clear beaches. The staff were very friendly and helpful and room (suite) was clean and comfortable with a balcony and view to take your breath away. The breakfast was simple but eggs and cheese from local farms and more than enough to start the day well. Would highly reccomend this hotel and paying that little bit more for the suite rooms with a sea view.

Feel's like home, the best stuff here in Dhermi, rooms are very good. And the view from the hotel is pricless. FOOD and Drinks Very delicious.

Nice hotel, very kind staff. We spend one night there and we were upgraded. The rooms are very large and there is a nice swiming pool!
