Welcomed by the bright smile of Patricia we immediately felt we had made a good choice. My husband and I have years of hospitality experience are very aware of the details of hotel procedures and practices. We went to our room and looked at each other and said … God she is good at her job! Check in was under 5 mins and she was so warm and friendly and we really liked instead of unessential information we got all we needed and an open invitation to come ask any questions or get advice any time. Knowing it was our wedding anniversary we were given a complimentary upgrade arrived back to the hotel from a beautiful Paris dinner experience to find Champagne, macaroons and a really touching card from Patricia and the team! The hotel is small and classic but the staff are personal warm and generally brilliant. Would definitely stay here again!

Best hotel in Paris. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Staff is extremely nice and dedicated (special thanks to Antonio). Location is outstanding, close to magic Notre Dame and bustling Quartier Latin but in a secluded street with no noise or nuisances. Looking forward to being back soon!

If you want to feel at ease… this Melia has given me back the confidence Q had lost in the brand. It's not cheap. But it's comfortable. And all the staff, without exception, a marvel. I repeat… if you want to feel at ease.

Lovely hotel in fantastic location with great transport links and walkable to many of the favourite tourist locations. If you prefer rhe sterile modern feel of premier inn type hotels this isnt for you. What it does offer is the charm of parisian style with friendly and helpful staff. Would definately stay again.

The Meliá Paris Notre Dam, is very very flirty, with a special charm and very very central.
It is located next to the street of Notre Dam, there are even rooms with side view to this impressive cathedral.
The first impression you take when you enter the Meliá Notre Dam, is very positive, the smile of the receptionist, who is right at the entrance, makes you see what you are going to find, and is quiet.
Despite my lack of French language, they strive and much to please and answer all that is asked, say that then I was surprised to find Spanish receptionists, Madrid and Extremadura.
The room you occupy, I have already said that overlooking the cathedral, it is not big, then I was able to check that many of the hotels in the centre of Paris the rooms are small. In this beautiful Meliá Notre Dam, the decor is very much achieved and one thing, the soundproofing is impressive.
The breakfast, which is buffet style, is very good, both for products and for its very good staff and for the location of the breakfast room, it looks like a very well maintained underground Bodeguita.
Definitely a hotel I will return to.

I'll stay here again in the next time I visit Paris. Excellent service, close to major mass transit system, bus or metro are near by, less than 3 minutes you can walk to metro or bus station that brings you to major site in Paris. And this is a historical building of Minister of Finances, a politician in France's golden age ruled by Louis XIV. Colbert was a man with vision, he made many policies and gather antiques to help france to polish their culture. He also helped to gather resources to build the Navy of France. There are 6 ship from france nave named after him. The last one is a missile cruiser in 1956.

Excellent location in the middle of a small Latin quarter the rooms fairly raised the price.

Clean, cozy and tastefully decorated. The best part is the location. The surrounding neighborhood has dozens of restaurants that fill up the narrow streets. Such a cool little corner of Paris.

Rooms are small, but clean and well appointed. Staff was nice and accommodating. Our room had a decent view of Notre Dame Cathedral. Hotel staff stored our luggage because our room was not ready for our early arrival. Location was outstanding, in the Latin Quarter.

Like all hotels in the area and at this price the room is small, but the receptionist/concierge are awesome and really take care of you. Location is great too.

I loved this charming hotel. The hotel is in a great location near the Latin quarter and Notre Dame (our room had a partial view of Notre Dame), the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was small but very nice. Breakfast is in a quaint room on the lower level with a nice selection of eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, fruit and cereal. Many great restaurants nearby. There was some noise from the street on occasion, but I didn't find it bothersome.

Sehr liebevoll ausgestattetes, sauberes Hotel in wirklich guter Lage. Metrostation, Notre Dame und viele typisch französische Restaurants und Bäckereien etc. Nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Hotelpersonal war äußerst freundlich und bemüht. Wirklich empfehlenswert!

Wonderful location. Short walk to the heart of the Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, Metro and RER. We stayed in Rm 3 on the Ground Floor. It had a view down the street of Notre Dame. The twin room was spacious, huge even with a sitting room and Bathroom down stairs. The windows opened onto the street so there was little chance you would leave them open for any period of time. The adjacent street was not terribly busy, but the surrounding area was noisy. We had some “delta wave” sleep music downloaded (more for the plane ride over) that canceled most street noise at night. It is Paris. There are sirens at night and you will hear them not matter what. Speaking of noise in the room, the bathroom was accessed via a stairway that tended to squeak. If you need to avoid stairs, I would make sure the staff knew about this at check in if not earlier. We found the staff friendly and accommodating. Not Disney in your face happy to see you, but always greeted with a “Bon Jour”. My wife asked where she could mail a post card and they happily took care of that for 1 Euro. We arrived around 7:30 am on a Saturday and they had a twin room available for us to use. I had previously emailed saying we had an early arrival and wanted to drop off luggage. I was ecstatic that we could get settled and wash up a bit so early before setting out to see Paris on our first day. The location was great. To the right is Notre Dame. Turn left and you will find restaurants and a bakery.

This is bright, clean, gorgeous hotel. Our room looked out on Notre Dame. It's probably no surprise that the room is a small by American standards, but seems pretty roomy by European standards. The location is excellent. It's a block from the Seine and two blocks from a small park, Square René Viviani. There are cafes and restaurants just around the corner.

A beautiful small hotel in a perfect location. The people working there are helpful and the rooms are clean and well furnished. You can walk to great restaurants and the subway. I had a clear view of Notre Dame from my window and it was a short walk from the hotel. I recommend the hotel for adults, children may want a bigger hotel.

Absolutely wonderful! The hotel staff are incredibly delightful, kind and are always on hand to help. The hotel is close to Notre Dame and St Germain, and the RER/Metro. Room is well sized and hotel is very clean. Highly recommended.

We were happy there. It is wonderful to open the window of the room and see the Cathedral of Notre Dame. A first service, walking is close to everything. For that they speak Spanish is an advantage that almost all staff speak it.

Peaceful location but close to the action. I was impressed with the service and the petit dejeuner.

We took the train from London and stayed here — I was so pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, and the lovely cosy room. If you are used to european bedrooms, these are very nice, pretty and comfortable but not large. We had a very nice breakfast in the charming downstairs room. So well located, and we loved being on a residential street as if we lived in the neighborhood. Perfect.
