The room, an deluxe double with the balcony was a very nice room. Only cons the swimming obliously was "out of order" for the week that we stayed. Nice night manager Mowa that He helped us for every small thing like order food during the night and direction to every place in Berlin.

Located near major traffic conjunction Zoo, it is also close to park and restaurants. Therefore easily accessible via buss. Hotel has 24/7 reception, fluent English speaking. Rooms are nice, clean with large bathrooms. There is also sauna, steam room and pool included in price. However, we came little early after long journey, we have been told at reception that room should be ready at 1pm (check in is officially at 3pm) so we went to see Aquarium and took some breakfast in cafe nearby. At 1pm room was not ready, so we continue our tour around hotel. Park that is near is definitely place you want to avoid. At 2pm we came back asking if it's ready, yet it was not, and we got the feeling that we were bothering them. At 3pm room was ready. No one has accompanied us to the room, we were just told direction. Bathrooms are large, however there is no air flow. Shower was only separated with plastic curtains, which made cheap expression. We wanted to visit hotel restaurant, however there were not much choices that would be worth spending "hotel extras" on. Overall, hotel is not bad, if you find great deal online, it can be good for few nights. However, since we travel a lot, this just did not fulfill our expectations of 4* hotel, moreover in such competitive area as Berlin.

The room was nice and the staff very helpful. Close to the historic heart of Berlin. Perfect.

Very well placed hotel, clean and comfortable room, with Spa included (swimming pool, sauna and Hammam) and gym. Good reception. Bottle of water offered (but sparkling, it is in Germany… It is possible to ask for plain water). Our stay was very nice.

Hotel very good, we enjoyed the pool, sauna and Hammam. The breakfast is a bit too expensive. Specified when booking if you do not like sparkling water.

Great room. Lovely pool and spa area. Not much gym equipment but mostly sufficient. Not long walk away too centre of berlin and great restaurants nearby.

Nice hotel near the Tiergarten — with nice business area — we were there with 35 people. Modern rooms and delicious breakfast complete the offer. Not cheap — but reasonable… except for 7, €50 for a red wine at the bar… I was flat.

Amazing hotel! Quick check in. Spacious for a room in Europe. Eco friendly and wonderful amenities. Ben is fantastic and supplied me with a robe and slippers so I could enjoy the pool and spa.

The staff are cold and aloof, location in quiet area but not in the center.
Well served by bus 200, pity that after a certain hour the buses no longer travel, so I had to take a taxi and I spent 13, €70 from downtown.

Gorgeous rooms with nice flat screen HD TV, large modern bathroom, in-room safe and a friendly staff. Buffet breakfast is available. The restaurant is beautiful and has a terrace overlooking the Tiergarten.

A very nice hotel, with an upscale ambience. Very nice and especially clean room. Service staff very friendly and attentive. I also like the bar very much. You can even watch football there. I really liked that. Eating in the restaurant was delicious. The only thing I think is that when you arrive with your car that you really have to pay a lot for parking.

Super Hotel. I have been a guest here many times. The location is with the best for a hotel in Berlin. It is located directly at the zoo and the Victory Column. It is best to book the Executive Room or Suite. Since you sleep there right on the upper floor and have an ingenious view of the Victory Column. Breakfast was good, but you can also have breakfast very well elsewhere in Berlin.

Amazing Hotel. Very good location in quiet area with the 200 bus right next door.
But the best of all has been the treatment of all its staff, all very attentive and friendly, always with a smile for the client.

Centrally located 4 star hotel with swimming pool. Friendly staff. Great breakfast and modern rooms. The underfloor heating in the bathroom is very nice.

We stayed at the Pestana Hotel over the weekend and were very pleased. The staff is very friendly, competent and helpful. The décor of the room is really nice. Especially emphasized are the mega comfortable beds from which you like to get up no more. The bathroom was also first class equipped with rain shower and underfloor heating. At the next Berlin visit we will come again at all time!

After my last stay in Berlin, I stayed at the Pestana Hotel Berlin Tiergarten. The check-in was very fast and uncomplicated. The front desk staff was very competent and friendly. All my questions have been answered accurately. There were also alternatives to the somewhat expensive car park. For 13, 50 euros you get a parking vignette for the parking zone 20. This is really practical. The room is very large and equipped with all the amenities. Even a bathtub is included. Breakfast is very sumptuous and absolutely fantastic. But unfortunately not quite cheap either.
All the staff were extremely friendly and courteous! You can recommend the hotel without exception!

Hitel to recommend. Clean, quiet, well maintained; Staff Very good breakfast There is even a small Spa! Convenient location not far walk from the zoo. However, the bus stop 200 which leads to the main points of interest is less than 100m.

Location was good, the hotel was pretty new and had nice facilities. Service and staff was friendly. Breakfast was nice and varied, but a little pricey. There was a pool, it was ok, but a little small. All in all we were happy with our stay here.

The hotel is really great and extremely clean. It's closer to every attractions. Close to malls and restaurants. I would highly recommend it. Only problem we have is air conditioning in the room was loud and it was able to cool down the room, my son had a difficulties to sleeping. Otherwise, great hotel.

I did enjoy my stay here, the only reason I take a star off is the fact that there is a window to the bedroom in the bathroom, which means, you can watch you SO doing their business while laying in bed. There are blinds you can close, yet I really don't get the idea. Breakfast was diverse and delicious, the spa area clean and beautiful. Give it a try and see for yourself though.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. I love the Tiergarten area of Berlin, which is so peaceful, beautiful and special. So it was a pleasure to walk outside and enjoy wonderful Germany. The hotel and service were okay, but nothing to rave about. My room had that kind of "musty" smell which feels like everything is not as clean as it should be. Whenever I encounter that smell in hotel, I wish I could have a can of Lysol spray to use in the room! So if I visit Tiergarten again, I will probably try another hotel and see what it's like.

Great hotel! Nice, clean rooms, delightful SPA. Breakfast was crowded and we had to wait for refills on food, plates and drinks (stayed in a weekend, but they could have solved this better).

We were seven days in the Hotel and completely satisfied. The Hotel is very clean, spacious. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The Breakfast buffet offers something for everyone. If you want to use public transport, the 200 bus route directly in front of the door. The 100 bus is in about 150 m distance.

The hotel is located on the bus 200 route from Alexanderplatz or a short walk from the train station at the zoo. The reception was friendly and spoke clear English which was nice. Our room is modern and clean. The room includes a TV with various channels as well as a pay-on-demand movie and maybe TV service. It also includes a fridge with some misc items that you must pay for. There are plenty of outlets, a small desk area, and lights. Overall a decently good room. The hotel also includes a pool and gym, breakfast (~17€ or so), and a restaurant. Nearby there is the Europa Center shopping mall where you can get prepaid sim cards and stuff. There are also lots of other shops and businesses nearby for food and coffee.

Gute zentrale Lage, Klasse Ambiente, toller Service — Zimmermobiliar und Bad modern und ansprechend, sogar eine Regendusche gibt es! Frühstück nur Ok.

Were 2 times in this Hotel. The first time was shortly after opening. During the first visit, there was even a Bathrobe when you Check in. This has changed, unfortunately. These are at no extra charge. The rooms are very nice and modern. The Breakfast was during our first visit to the rich. The location of the hotel we liked.

Booking was made through AGODA. It was only me Breakfast inclusive offered, then it was at the time of booking suddenly disappeared. Fortunately, I had previously made a Screenshot. Confronted with this, now refuses to AGODA with all sorts of excuses to correct this. The survey can AGODA perfect German. The complaint is in English only. Nice Business Model. Going to Breakfast incl. Consist of, or cancel. As a business customer, I'm probably in more ways than a private person. Whether PESTANA probably on the shaft mitreitet or part of the system? No matter, went along, scooped up, the nest. Caution is needed!

Absolutely a lovely hotel nearby a beautiful park. I recommend this one to everybody who comes to Berlin. One of the two best hotels I've ever stayed at. Oh, I almost forgot: the rooms are spectacularly beautiful and clean! Food is also great and the staff is friendly and helpful. They also speak very good English.

I don't think there's a single thing wrong with this hotel except for the fact that breakfast was extraordinarily expensive. Staff were courteous and knowledgable and were genuinely gracious. The pool, steam bath, and sauna were the perfect way to relax after a long day of walking around Berlin. The hotel is situated in a quiet area near the zoo and the garden. There are good restaurants nearby as well. Overall a great place to stay.

Beautiful and modern hotel in the Tiergarten area in Berlin. The staff is really lovely. The rooms are modern, light and clean. Breakfast is okay, we paid 20eur which was too much in my opinion because it's nothing special. I would have loved to get some pastells de nata in a portuguese hotel ;) We've been at the bar a few times, which has good drinks and cocktails. Just one barkeeper was quiet erratic, once even yelled at his co-worker and talked bad about their manager. Will definitely come back to this hotel when I'm in Berlin.

Hotel is nice and in a Central location. The staff is friendly. Cleanliness is good, but not outstanding. Hair in the bathroom normally, the cleaner would need to find. Swimming pool and Sauna are quite adequate, the gym is good. Underground car Park is relatively small for large cars (SUV), it is very cramped. Kombi is not a Problem. Rooms are very comfortable and provide ample flat. The biggest drawback is the drain in the shower. This is not normal, but in the Form of an empty joint. A nice idea but in practice it leads to unpleasant very annoying Floods. Nevertheless, I would this Hotel book again. Breakfast I can't rate because not posted because it is about HRS on the day of booking for 23EUR was displayed. My colleague has the same day booked at the same time, also on HRS and has a total of 10 euros less, including Breakfast paid. On the invoice it was then 7 Euro ausgewisen. The time to Understand.

Not very cheap, but very clean professional Hotel with absolutely beautiful modern rooms. Also the Restaurant is very recommendable. It has not just in close proximity to an S — or U-Bahn, but in 10 Min. Reachable by foot. The staff in the Restaurant and at the reception is very friendly and extremely personable.
