Absolutely do NOT book this hotel! They are awful! We are in the middle of a huge dispute with them.
My partner and I were so horrified by the dirt that we did not even bring our luggage in — we booked a different hotel in the middle of the night just to get away.
When we got home, we discovered that they ended up charging us $300 USD! For nothing!
The policy clearly states that if we were to cancel, they would only charge us for 1 night. Hotels. Com has tried to get our money back from the numerous times and they keep rejecting it. We are now looking into legal action against them — and we have filed a complaint with the Icelandic Tourism department. We will or stop there and file a police report if need be! My partner is an attorney and we will use all means necessary to insure no one else gets hurt! Awful!
