Great music, fantastic staff and management, excellent pints… A 5 star experience.

Great hotel only minor is distance from car park to hotel, only about 400m but enough if you only need to nip to the car for a map or your glasses. There is a minibus service you can avail of which runs all day. Also walk from car to hotel at night time had no lighting. Rooms are great size with all amenities you could want.

We don't know where to even begin with how amazing our wedding experience was from going to view the venue to picking our date to the day itself. The hotel is fabulous and the staff were all so helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly with a special mention to Tracey, Irene, Jennifer, Siobhan and our bar man Owen who were all so friendly and helpful. The ballroom was so stunning and every little detail was perfect.

A group of 30 of us stopped at the hotel after a service at the local funeral home in search of tea and coffee. We had not pre booked but the staff at the hotel were so accommodating for such a large party, and just before a wedding was due to commence. They opened the restaurant for us and provided soup and sandwiches for our group without hesitation. We were blown away by the kindness and compassion shown to our family during a very tough time.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hotel. The staff was always polite, helpful, and professional. Aoife was a constant face during our three days there and appeared to embody the essence of service before self. I remember seeing her throughout the day, handling various tasks, and always giving the appearance of dedication and service to the Kilmore experience. I could not thank her enough for helping us feel at home in Cavan Co. IE — Daryl and Ashley White, FL, USA.

Where do we begin, we booked Hotel Kilmore when we first got engaged in January 2018 and from then to now we couldn’t have asked for better. They were fantastic throughout, we originally had booked our wedding for March 2020 and finally got our day on the 25th of august 2022. Nothing was too much for them from the numerous date changes to queries if we wanted something different, needed something changed nothing was ever a problem.

Myself and my sister stayed here last weekend. It’s a yearly/twice yearly treat and we just love it! Close to home but you feel like you’re away! Staff are always very friendly and helpful, be it at the front desk, bar, restaurant, rooms or spa. A quiet relaxing wee break to switch off, relax and enjoy the surroundings, swim in the pool, walk in the lovely grounds. Thank you Bridie for accommodating us and the little surprise of Prosecco on arrival. We’ll be back🥰

We had a wonderful stay at Rivendell. The Indian food is amazing, I would come back to Cavan just for another dinner there! Karen and Neville are such friendly and welcoming hosts — highly recommend.
