Just leaving after an absolutely brilliant 2 night D, B, B. Very pleasing to the eye, our arrival was cordially eased through reception, ably assisted by Niamh and Emma. Beautiful rooms, and staff throughout most courteous and willingly helpful. Great food. And the grounds a must for gentle walkers. Autumn colours enhancing the beautiful well manicured lawns, Paul Martin designed gardens, and the PGA golf course an absolute must. Have to leave but a must to return.

We celebrated my fathers 60th Birthday in the hotel at the weekend. The staff were absolutely amazing from reception, porters, restaurant and bar staff. We really enjoyed our stay. The food and beverages were outstanding. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. Rituals toiletries in the rooms. I would highly recommend the hotel. Looking forward to our wedding in 2024.

Home away from home, pretty out of the way so it is a drive to get to. However this makes for a nice drive, great night skys and a lovely quiet stay.
We stayed a few nights, attending a wedding in Caven one of the days/nights.
Rooms are a great size they are clean and beds comfortable. Great en-suite. There is large guest kitchen downstairs available to use as and when, we actually made ourselves a home cooked meal one night which was nice.

Stayed here on 29th December 2023, Bridie and Mary are perfect hosts who couldn't do enough for us, rooms spotless and warm with lovely facilities thank you both so much amazing stay xx.

Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed the hospitality at the b&b, nothing was to much trouble, the rooms are very comfortable and impeccably clean, Rosemary and her family make you feel at home the moment you arrive and the breakfast was outstanding.
Me and the rest of the family have already enquired about staying again.

Very comfortable BnB. Clean room and house and comfortable all round. The breakfast was great with freshly baked bread and scones every morning. Rosemary is very kind and helpful. Lovely walks on the old coach road with views of sunset on the one side and sunrise on the other.

I just har the girls trip og my life! Ross House is everything you want and more. Beautiful scenery, lovely house, superfriendly family/staff — and the best most professional riding instructors ever. I'll come back for sure. Thanks for making our stay Even better than we expected.

Not only is the place beautiful — but the facilities are of a very high standard regardless of which type of horse riding you prefer.

Staying here at Lacken Millhouse was an exceptionally lovely experience from the moment of our arrival being welcomed so warmly and in such a friendly manner, we felt thoroughly relaxed and at home throughout our three day stay here. Lacken Millhouse is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious and very generous. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at the Millhouse. The setting is incredibly peaceful and the welcome was the warmest I've come across in a long time, even by Irish standards. Helen and co run a fantastic establishment and we very much hope to make a repeat visit!

Great hotel only minor is distance from car park to hotel, only about 400m but enough if you only need to nip to the car for a map or your glasses. There is a minibus service you can avail of which runs all day. Also walk from car to hotel at night time had no lighting. Rooms are great size with all amenities you could want.

We don't know where to even begin with how amazing our wedding experience was from going to view the venue to picking our date to the day itself. The hotel is fabulous and the staff were all so helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly with a special mention to Tracey, Irene, Jennifer, Siobhan and our bar man Owen who were all so friendly and helpful. The ballroom was so stunning and every little detail was perfect.

A group of 30 of us stopped at the hotel after a service at the local funeral home in search of tea and coffee. We had not pre booked but the staff at the hotel were so accommodating for such a large party, and just before a wedding was due to commence. They opened the restaurant for us and provided soup and sandwiches for our group without hesitation. We were blown away by the kindness and compassion shown to our family during a very tough time.

A very nice bed and breakfast with a very large size room and nice view of the Irish country side. The room was comfortable with more than enough room for the two of us. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Breakfast options were very plentiful. Hostess was very pleasant.

As B&Bs goes Hawthorn Lodge is up amonst the best we've stopped in in the last 5yrs. Not a thing out of place. Immaculately kept. The owners are so welcoming informative and talkative. Well thought out from greetings, to rooms even to you actually being to select the breakfast you want in advance to prevent wastage. Breakfast was just amazing well presented and so damn tasty. You'll struggle to find a better place and at a great price. You can't improve on perfection.

Cabra Castle and Dun a Ri Forest. We were there for a two night stay. We have no hesitation in recommending this B and B.

Our stay at Plantation Lodge was excellent. Kathleen was so welcoming. We stayed for one night as we were attending a wedding in Cabra castle. It was perfect less than 5min drive.
Our room was perfect. En suite was clean with plenty of towels. There was also the added bonus of some Easter bunny chocolates in our room.

Once again Maura looked after us like we were family.
The perfect B&B for the fishermen. Large bait fridge, secure off road parking, filling breakfast, great local fishing advice from Maura, some nice local pubs for a relaxing evening.

Highly recommend Church View in Belturbet. Stayed there recently and Maura (the owner) was so accommodating and helpful beyond expectation. Lovely room and delicious breakfast.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hotel. The staff was always polite, helpful, and professional. Aoife was a constant face during our three days there and appeared to embody the essence of service before self. I remember seeing her throughout the day, handling various tasks, and always giving the appearance of dedication and service to the Kilmore experience. I could not thank her enough for helping us feel at home in Cavan Co. IE — Daryl and Ashley White, FL, USA.

Where do we begin, we booked Hotel Kilmore when we first got engaged in January 2018 and from then to now we couldn’t have asked for better. They were fantastic throughout, we originally had booked our wedding for March 2020 and finally got our day on the 25th of august 2022. Nothing was too much for them from the numerous date changes to queries if we wanted something different, needed something changed nothing was ever a problem.

Myself and my sister stayed here last weekend. It’s a yearly/twice yearly treat and we just love it! Close to home but you feel like you’re away! Staff are always very friendly and helpful, be it at the front desk, bar, restaurant, rooms or spa. A quiet relaxing wee break to switch off, relax and enjoy the surroundings, swim in the pool, walk in the lovely grounds. Thank you Bridie for accommodating us and the little surprise of Prosecco on arrival. We’ll be back🥰

Wonderful spa, outstanding staff and service, amazing food and gorgeous setting and walks.

Hosts were so lovely and accommodating. Room was beautiful and spacious. Free kayaks, with lifesavers and phone holders, were an amazing addition! The pier area was very peaceful and no biting insects when we were there.

If you looking a place with nice view, surrouded with plenty singing birds and with 50 years old rose bushes in the garden with delicious food and nice atmosphere that's your place on the earth ;-)

Food was lovely room amazing and staff really helpful and friendly.
