Great location, only 1 min walking to Rossio. Very motivated and friendly staff. But the rooms are small and the walls are very thin. Also — obviously — 3 shared bathrooms, so you'll always find a free one. They are regularly being cleaned, so if the guests are ok, the bathrooms are as well. There are rooms with windows to the backside. As there is a smelly restaurant, you can't open the window. Still, the AC is working well, so you don't really need to. But the ones to the front have a beautiful view. EDIT: The beds are squeaking…
Reasonable hotel with 5 star touches. The place is impeccably clean. Crisp white sheets with white bed covers. Clean you can see and feel. Air conditioning. Balcony. Mini fridge. Flat screen TV with cable channels. Even though the bathrooms are shared they were squeaky clean and always empty. The staff and the cleaning lady are very welcoming and friendly which added a great touch to the whole visit. I highly recommend this place.

It's not very expensive and you get a certain type of service for the price. It's not super clean and it smells in the hallways. Our room also smelled cigarettes even though the reservation said it was a non-smoking place. I don't know where the smell came from but out linen and everything else in the room was just covered in that smell. The customer service isn't bad, the guys were very nice. However that system with the keys was a bit annoying because we had to leave the keys at reception. The guy at night wanted to sleep and we have to bother him to get into the room. I think the hotel have to change their policy on that. It's not a primary school after all.
