Superb hotel very close to Las Ramblas and near a metro station. Comfy and well equipped room and they do a good breakfast.

Great location, affordable prices, clean rooms with all the basic facilities. However, the bed in our double room was terrible — felt very unstable, with very soft mattress, made squeaking noises with every move. The AC made a lot of high-pitched noise, so we had to turn it off.

The hotel is in a gret location not far from La Ramba street and gothic area of Barcelona. The staff are friendly stright away. There is a place to leave your luggage if you arrive early and your room is not ready. The rooms are a good size with sockets to charge phone near the bed. The bathroom is good for this star of hotel. There is fast, free Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel. There also a good size lounge area with vending machines. I would stay here for a couple of days.

Good for the price point and its three-stars. The location is perfect, near to various shops, a supermarket, and an array of restaurants. Not to mention, direct access to La Rambla. However, the bathroom can get an improvement in the form of curtain because water from shower can easily wet the bathroom floor. Otherwise, the room is enough for three (we choose the triple something room for three). No water kettle, though.

Great location, staff easy to communicate with. Rooms very small, shower was not nice at all as it flooded the bathroom of the water hit the wall (not sealed properly) and no shower door HOWEVER still a good place to stay as far as location and service goes. Happy customer :)

With a roomrate 200 euro for a room without air condidion, room to the street with problem to sleep due to the nigth life outside, no Wi-Fi function in the room, and on top of that the breakfast was not included (cost only 8 euro). My friends paid 140-160 and they got the breakfast. The breakfast cost 8Euro, a normal good customer smart hotel would included it. My room was also a no cancelation room. Thank you for the stay — but I would not stay her anymore or give my recomandation. My idea was to test the hotel, and if Imliked it I would have stayed her for one week in August with my wife. PS! If they at least have offered me a breakfast to buy, of course 8 Euro is affordable, but they just told me not to take breakfast.

Great location, friendly staff who are very helpful, and offer baggage storage which is very handy. Reasonably priced and has all you need. A few seconds walk from Rambla and super close to Colum and cruise ship terminals. Only downside is that the walls here is that the walls are incredibly thin. I could hear people walking in the adjacent rooms and when something was dropped on the floor it almost sounded like it was in my room. You are staying right in the middle of a very busy place so expect some outside noise to come through too. This does die down by about 12am-2am. Would definitely stay again and hope for more courteous neighbors next time around!

Good cheap hotel some rooms have Windows to some kind of a shaft making it so you can't get air really the reception kindly switches our rooms so it's still getting 5 stars.

Dirty, hairy and to know in the sheets, good in almost the whole hotel… When leaving the hotel before D get to the corner, they offer all kinds of drugs… It is worth to go further and come to the center by Metro or walk (or n come) star one because N lets put-… The service of breakfast, you can pay 8 euros and make a glass D milk alone (they have neither Colacaro) and the coffee much Q want dirty water (like the hotel)

Excellent hotel at 50 m from Rambla flanked by many locals, for those who want to have fun is recommended. The rooms are quite spacious and having it taken as B&B I can say that the breakfast is great. The staff is polite and willing to listen for every little problem. Only flaw in the room was the shower that leaked slightly and to which they were unfortunately not able to remedy. Open this recommended.

The rooms are nice, the bathroom really great (although no bidet). The service in short… Leave it to be desired. The breakfast is excellent, really great. If you should come here for a tour it would be painful to have dinner. A really great place to eat is "El Rincon", great paella and the price really minimal.

Hotel in a strategic position, a few meters from the Rambla. Very clean and with really nice staff. The rooms and the bathroom are very small It is in a pedestrian area so you have to look for a parking lot in the surroundings and walk there. Just outside the property you have everything you want: local bars restaurants and shops. Recommended for those looking for the nightlife, no to those looking for peace of mind.

Staff is very friendly, helpful and know the area if you want to check out more of a local experience. When you book, look for a courtyard room. Less noise from the busy Barcelona night life and majestic in the morning!

Located at 50 meters from the Rambla enjoys a strategic position x who little wants to visit the city. Clean and comfortable rooms the cleaning service should be revised.

Only negative: acoustic isolation of non-existent rooms… and poor mattress quality.

We stayed with my partner 2 nights and not mine liked the small room and the tiny bathroom clean badly they are not clean friends you can have left the window wide open with cold and rain that was there when we returned at 11pm after dinner to sleep It was a crazy cold only good thing not noisy.

Room was just what we needed and staff were great. Amazing location. Only issue was air con wasnt great and bath plug did not work. Would stay again and reccomend.

The bar/restaurant of the hotel with paella, dessert and Tapas Unlimited for 14th (unbeatable price), I recommend more than briskly this bar/restaurant for who wants the ambiance and the kitchen Barcelona without ruining. Me it's on I would go back!

The room was very clean and the bathroom was very comfortable.

Location and reception are good. However one of the most important things, we didn't like the beds. We requested a double room and received four single beds. What do we need with four single beds? Furthermore mattress and cushions were not for our liking. However like said before, location is great and price aswell.

It is a 3 star hotel, it is under the level compared to other hotels of the same, they have on one side of the rooms that gives for the street you hear a lot of noises. Breakfast is scarce, no buffet, no restaurant, not cheap. They charge more for the location, it is a few meters from the Rambla.

Modern and polite and courteous staff. Central location to get around even on foot. Only flaw, the screams from the street (but I would not give the blame for the hotel)

Hotel more or less well, the rooms are a bit cramped they lack furniture to store clothes, they do not have cafeteria services to take to the rooms, we had to change room x the noises of the street.

Stayed in this hotel for a short break recently. Really enjoyable experience. The location is very central. Near La Rambla, the metro, the market and lots of restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was bright and clean. Also stocked with fresh toiletries every day.

Rooms cozy But we were not given the bed Mafrimoniale as by booking on TripAdvisor. Too bad.

Positive: good location. Otherwise: Unfortunately the cleanliness of the room was not good. Window to the tiny "courtyard" so everyone could look from the hallway to the room. The house is extremely noisy. At the weekend it is hard to think of sleep, you hear the music from below, doors squeak permanently, the conversations from the neighbouring room can be listened to directly. The breakfast was underground: nothing fresh, every day exactly the same: toast, baked buns, 2 kinds of cheap cut sausage, 2 kinds of cheap sliced cheese, strawberry and peach jam, and 3 kinds of yogurt. No fruit and vegetable choice, no change, nothing fresh, no signage (keyword food incompatibilities). And point 10:30 clock had to leave the breakfast room!

The Location is great, but the rooms are very basic, very small, no mini bar (fridge) if you stay in the 1st floor, you can hear people talking, laughing and walking in the street right beneath you.

Very clean and functional, with great staff, located just off The Ramblas. Only had continental breakfast so can't comment on meals but it's ideally placed for whatever you fancy. We found it best to eat/drink off the Main Street in the side streets and squares. Great hotel in a fantastic city. ++++++++++++++++++++++

Hotel situation in a perfect location to turn Barcelona… close to the Metro… the Rambla, the port and the Gothic quarter… good breakfast.

Nicely located. Nice comfortable room. Breakfast ok but nothing special. Rooms would benefit from tea or coffee facilities but this is normal for Spain anyway.

Very nice and modern room. We have TV and Wi-Fi. Breakfast not bad and staff very prepared and welcoming. It is possible that I will return.

Prime location in the Barcelona Gothic Quarter. The rooms and bathrooms are modern and clean. The whole hotel is airconditioned and the morning breakfast serves hot meals which is open from 7:30am to 10:30am. Wonderful hotel to spend your time on Barcelona, with a train station only a minute away, this makes it easy to make your way around the city.

Rooms decorated in a modern style. Well-lit, comfortable and well-air conditioned rooms. The breakfast was excellent. There is no restaurant but you can enjoy tapas in the local bar. Central location next to Placa Reial and Las Ramblas; Then to the meter and the means of transport of surface. Numerous and quality restaurants in the surroundings.

Hotel is right in the middle of a lot of shops. The hotel itself has a modern style. Only issue I had was the shower door doesn't close so the floor gets very wet.

Located in the gothic quarter of the city this hotel is in a great location. It is easily accessible from the metro. The rooms are small but ideal for a short city break. Very clean overall.

My fiancèe and I stayed here this week booking the flights and hotel combined through Jet2 Holidays. The hotel is basic, modern and clean. The rooms are spacious we booked a double and ended up in a triple room. Although it was 3 single beds with 2 pushed together to make a double. Staff are friendly and room kept clean each day we stayed. We expected noise as the hotel is right at the heart of the citys Gothic Quarter — a step outside to Las Ramblas, close to the harbour and main attractions. Would recommend restaurant right opposide the hotel called La Fonda also Selene a nearby tapas. Overall low cost, perfect location and everything you would want from a short city break to Barcelona would def use Barcelona House Hotel again!

It was quite basic but in a convenient position in the old city. Don't try and get there by shuttle bus as its not allowed near the hotel, especially when it's dark, and you'll end up dragging cases up La Rambla and around the backstreets trying to find it. Tip — there is a big statue at the junction of La Rambla but there doesn't appear to be a street name on the corner. Breakfast is a bit minimal for English guests, really only caters for continental breakfasters. Also doesn't seem to take credit cards and they want cash payments for anything extra.

I would say this hotel is very good hotel. I love the room. It's very central location. Near Public Transport. You can rent a bike go go around the city. The price is comparable with the quality. Would recommend this to my friends. Very quick and responsive staff. Great service! 5 stars service! Smooth Check-in. This hotel usually full, so better book early.

Average hotel. You have what it takes to spend a night there or a few, but it is not the best to rest. A lot of noise outside of the people in the street. Cleaning and treatment of staff and normal price.

Hotel is nice, sited in the city centre there are plenty of places to eat near by and only a 15 minuet walk from the beach. Despite being in the city centre its fairly quiet, however our room was in the middle of the hotel (and we did get some ambient noise for the shower above us) The room it's self is really nice, only complaint is thst there is no fridge or kettle however theres a bar/resturant downstairs. The shower is probably the best shower i've used in a hotel including ones in the UK. As far as service goes they were very friendly, no complaints. Would stay here again if i'm ever to revisit!

Great little hotel right on the centre. Perfect for las ramblas and other central locations. Staff very friendly, can leave luggage in a secure locked room after checkout. For a base for a long weekend it's perfect, very clean and breakfast was okay. Only downside was the green smoke detector placed on the ceiling at the end of the bed — it was so bright there was no chance of sleeping, like a UFO floating above you! … despite this I'd go back but with an eye mask.

The only good thing about this place is the location. Besides that the staff is rude, there is no microwave or refrigerator, the room is really small compared to the pictures, bathroom makes noise, and the bed has no comfort at all. It also has terrible lighting and the staff questioned us many times for no good reason. Do not stay here!

+ located central just 1 min away from La Rambla and the harbour. reception is friendly and helpful; cleaning/kitchen staff a bit unfriendly room size and cleanliness is ok — due to thin walls (you can hear mobiles ringing and people talking), soft beds, builders working and restaurants down the street it is impossible to get good sleep worst of all: breakfast (from 8 — 10 am) — plastic cutlery (! ), warm yoghurt, bad coffee, only white rolls and old croissants, no fruits at all! Staff removes breakfast even before 10 am. -> acceptable for a weekend but not for a whole week : — (

This hotel is in an excellent location, particularly for the price that we paid. Walking distance to excellent restaurants, shopping and sites. Quick route to and from the airport. If you are not looking for something very fancy, then this is the place to stay. Clean, modern and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the area felt safe. If you are looking for something upscale and with total comfort, then do not stay at this hotel as you will be disappointed. The rooms are small, beds mediocre and other amenities incredibly limited (e. G. No gym, no restaurant, no room service, etc. ). But, if you are looking for a clean and safe place to stay at an affordable price, then it is a good choice; we preferred to spend our money shopping, not on fancy hotel rooms.

The rooms are very nice and clean. Good beds, good breakfast and most important; very friendly people. The shower is very good, the service is perfect! It is in the city centre but no loud music in the night at our room (3rd floor). The design of the hotel is very nice too. If I will visit BCN again I will definately book this hotel again.

Very good location for leisure travellers who want to explore the city on foot. The staff is powerful very friendly — and compared to previous stays in another hotel — the englischenSprache. Good and cheap restaurants are directly opposite and to find the corner :-) again anytime.

A nice and small hotel. Five stars for the location. Just a few steps from La Ramla and beautiful Plaza Reial. Enjoyed my stay with a nice view of the urban streets in the Gothic Quarter.

Modern and clean but a room with a window facing a wall is boring.

A very nice hotel, only the views in the neighbouring building and the construction noise a hotel for young people is a place already very annoying but otherwise all in all, to the need to sleep.

Extremely noisy hotel and poor cleaning services. Even though my pillow was red after a nose-bleed during the night they didnt care to change it. The facility it self is very central with easy access to La Rambla and easy to find.
