Disna Homestay Hotel

Thanks to that fantastic family. We had a wondeful stay. They organized for us tuktuks to Polonaruwa and they also organize Safaris much cheaper than you get them in the village. Eat the dinners and breakfast there, was the best food we had in Sri Lanka. The lady makes outstanding food.

We stayed here for 3 nights after we came from Negombo. The hosts are so nice that they help you with everything. Want a safari? Don’t worry, they will fix it for you. Want a driver to go the next place? Don’t worry they will fix it for you. Want a tasty dinner home cooked at your leisure? Don’t worry, they fix it for you. We had the family room without aircon but with ventilator, it was a bit hot but it was fine. The dinner every night is freshly made by the hostess and served by the host. It consists of rice and curry with vegetarian options, and it is delicious. You share the home stay with a few other travellers which’s nice if you want some conversation. Would give this a 10 out of 5 if it was possible. Friendliest family in Sri Lanka!

Super friendly staff who goes out of the way to help you! The owner organised from a safari to bikes and tuktuks everything for us for good prizes; the whole family was fun to be around (e. G. For a swim in the local lake). They also helped is to wave the right bus down to Trincomalee. We also had three breakfasts here (one of which she packed for us to take to sigiriya) which where all lovely and different to each other. The one dinner which we had here was also very good and almost too much food with so many difgerent curries and fruits. Try the homemade juice!

My family of 5 adults enjoyed our stay here. We had 2 rooms (triple and double) and were impressed with how clean the property is. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless and the beds were comfortable. The larger room has AC, and both rooms had hot water, free Wi-Fi. We organized dinner here and the hosts prepared it per our request (not too spicy) for a reasonable $5 each. Also, we had to leave early the next morning so the family woke up early to prepare breakfast for us. The family is super friendly and helpful, and will do everything to make you happy. Highly recommend!

We have been to Disna Homestay on April 16th 2018 for one night. Room has AC / Hot water and beds were comfortable and overall its clean and perfect stay.
Owner Anushka and her husband were very kind and best hospitality I have ever experienced so far. She prepared excellent Sri Lankan foods for us and Thanks again for your kindness and keep up your good work.
I highly recommend Disna home stay for anyone who looking for great hospitality and nice / clean rooms around Habarana.

A great stay; very hospitable hosts and awesome cooking.

Nice host prepared good breakfasts and dinner for us. She helped to get around and orginized jeep with guide for national park tour.

The homestay is run by a most wonderful family who really make you feel part of their family. The food was delicious and the rooms are comfortable. They also have the best tour guide in Habarana for a safari, make sure you go after school finishes!

Very warm people run this place. Stay and facilities are good. Food is served fresh and guests tastes are accomodated. They arranged an amazing lake boat ride for us. It was a wonderful experience.
