Excellent customer service. All we needed was a basic room for the night for three and US$12 did the trick. No frills but was an excellent base for exploring the irrigation lake/tank with amazing bird population. Also close to Smokys Kitchen where two local chefs suprised us with amazing curries.

Great place with outstanding lake view. We got a room upgrade and service was perfect all the way. Pool is exactly perfect as are the rooms. The excursions are somewhat expensive via the hotel so I would arrange yourself. Overall an amazing place to stay and we would always go back here whenever around.

Me and my family stayed here for 2 nights. We had a very pleasant stay because the whole host family were lovely and caring. They care a lot about the garden and everything which is really visible in comparison to other guest houses. The view from the upper, but also from the lower terrace over the rice fields are incredible, so if you're not exploring it is nice to hang out around the cottage as well.

We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for two nights to do a Safari in Yala national park. We had a very good time at the Green View. The owner was very nice and helpful. They organised a taxi for us to get from Weligama to Tissa and they also arranged the Safari Tour for us. The driver was well experienced and did a great job. The room we stayed in was cosy and clean and had a cool Safari-feel to it.

Beautiful, calm and clean guesthouse. Friendly owners, they provide safe transportation in all Sri Lanka and good safari tours in Yala National Park.

Peaceful Location, Comfortable Rooms, Swimming Pool.
The hotel is quite far from the main road but this in turn, made its location very peaceful and calm. Very picturesque amongst swaying coconut trees. You can really relax. Our cabanas were very comfortable, although the bathrooms could have been better. Best recommended meal at the hotel would be its fish & chips — fresh and good portions. Another must try is the fresh coconuts.

Best small hotel, great place calm and quite and also great people. You feel like home.

Basic cabana, with fan on the wall, and clean bedding with comfy beds. Amazing location, just footsteps from the lagoon and beach, so great value. Such a lovely and kind host, who worked so hard and we really appreciated the lift back to the main road in the morning. Thank you.

Beautiful beach front location and very friendly staff. Pretty laid back during off season (came mid-July). Really enjoyed our lunch here 2 days in a row. A bit pricier than most lunch places but there are not a lot of options around here and the food and drink quality is good.

Amazing hotel with the perfect helpful and friendly host. The nicest place we stayed in in Sri Lanka for a really good price. Food was great too on their terrace which has lovely views. The host also sorted a safari and travel to the next destination for a very fair price. The beaches nearby are beautiful too.

Clean, new, cozy, near the bus station, near the beach, all cafes, shops within walking distance, the owner is always at your disposal, ready to help in any situation, nice view from the terrace.

A lovely place with neat, clean and spacey rooms. The bathroom is also super clean.

The beach is a 5 min walk from the resort.

The markets are a little far away and the resort is a little out of the way.

The hotel is in front of a magnificent lake. The staff is helpful and the room was excellent, you can also have food there. There is almost nothing close to the hotel, you need to walk 10 min to tissamaharama city centre. So you will appreciate the quiteness, except for some moments where a local family, living close to the hotel was making noise, but I mean nothing terrible, just a baby crying.

The owner is a very nice, polite and lovely gentleman who provides good hospitality. He explains the routes to visit places nicely in very understandable way.
And he wears a good smile always.

There are many expensive hotels on the pristine beaches in Sri Lanka. Without a doubt many provide excellent service and amenities. Sanjis is a small venture. A few, sparsely but comfortably appointed rooms right on the beach that is breathtakingly beautiful, with a small staff including the owner who is always available and helpful. Everything is a bit rustic, but that is also the charm. There are no crowds, no noise except from the occasional village dog.

Our stay at Sanji’s place was nothing short of divine. He and his entire team are incredibly adept at creating a haven that is unmatched. My sweetheart and I were treated like true VIP’s every second of our stay. If you are looking for an environment that offers the best of Sri Lanka, this is the place. The food was delicious-some of the best cuisine we’ve ever had. Everything was fresh and homemade with love and exceptional culinary finesse. The beach is stunning!

Great location, the wavy beach at your feet, body boards available, great place to experience vacation thrills with your family or friends. Certain rooms are better than others, however they are sufficiently clean and comfortable.

The architecture and the decor of the house is very unique and left me with a nice feeling the moment I entered the place. The inner and outer premises are very well taken care of and there seems to be put a lot of love into little details. The plants in the garden are peculiar. The complete staff are genuinely kind, helpful and diligent. The meals are delicious, fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We had the best food of our 1 month trip in Sri Lanka here.
