Simply furnished rooms, but we had everything we needed. Everything was very clean. The host family is very nice and breakfest was amazing.

Not exactly a resort. It is actually a home stay. Clean rooms. Excellent Sri Lankan breakfast. Host ushan is a cool guy. 2 minute walk towards Goyappakka beach. Great place to stay in short.

Feel the hospitality of local stuff. They can arrange a car for safari in Yala in a very reasonable price.

Had a wonderful and peaceful time at kethaka aga. Environment is so relaxing and environment friendly. Rooms are clean and specious. Service is also excellent, special thanks to Saman (manager) as well for the hospitality. However, food can be improved including taste and quality, also had some misunderstanding on the breakfast but those are negligible considering the good things of the place. Recommended. Will visit again.

We stayed for an amazing 8 days here, and didn’t want to leave! Such a relaxing place with the best staff and incredible food!
There are restaurants within walking distance or a 5 minute TukTuk ride away, and we enjoyed exploring the area and visiting the many beaches and wildlife reserves. Paradise beach was a highlight, and Dinuka and team were brilliant at giving us tips and helping arrange drivers etc.

Absolutely amazing place. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The pool and grounds were great; the sofa loungers up by the dining area were so comfortable and caught a good breeze.
The food was amazing — breakfasts were very generous and tasty. The coconut pancakes were delicious. We also had a dinner at the hotel and it was one of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka.
The hotel had beach access, but the waves are a bit too powerful to swim.

We had the whole villa to ourselves. Set in the beautiful gardens. We watched the monkeys playing in the trees while drinking our fresh jungle smoothies each morning. Very attentive staff. We had access to the fridge in the shared kitchen too, which is handy for cold drinks in the evening.

I had such a fantastic stay of 2 (! ) weeks in this place. When I arrived I planned to stay for 2 days, maybe 3… and ended up with 2 weeks. Ernest and his family treated me really like her own daughter.
I stayed in a very cosy single rooms. There are two big terraces with chairs and sun beds, a big sofa area with comfy couchs and a tropical garden with palm trees and many different fruits.

One of the best locations I’ve been. People who love to read and relax after busy life back home. 3 hours from Colombo airport and one hour to National parks Yala, Bundala and Udawalawa.

The fantastic location is recommended here. For people who love seclusion, tranquility and nature.

Excellent accommodation with all facilities, very close to the main entrance. Got everything you need at an affordable price.

At the end of our trip we wanted to spend a few days at the beach. Luckily we found this lovely place! A whole cute cottage for ourselves in a quiet location. Great and helpful staff who prepared delicious breakfast, helped us to rent scooter and even organized a canoe for starting our day on the nearby lagoon. If you look for proximity to a pristine beach — look no further. Value for money is hard to beat.

We had a wonderful time at Turtle View. On arrival we received king coconuts cut straight from the tree and a nice greeting from the lovely couple who own the place! Our room was clean, had air con, a mosquito net and a little outside area for sitting. We were very happy with our room for the price that you pay!
The hotel is very close to the beach (about a 5 min walk) and it had no one on it! So private, peaceful and had so much wildlife to see!

We felt in love with this place! Running by really nice local family, the cabins are thought out to the last detail, you have your own privacy and every possible comfort. The lady is also an excellent chef. Location is realy close to the beach, you can hear the waves, and also close to the lagoon, and you can in the hotel rent kayaks for nice trip to the mangroves with all the birds, monkeys and varans. Highly recommended! Thank you!

3 min. To the sea. Good food.

This is a beautiful, quaint resort that is in a calm and secluded beach area. It’s perfect for a restful break from city life. Or even a honeymoon stay. I really enjoyed the stay. Please note they don’t have credit card facilities so have cash on hand. They were accommodating with exchanging our US dollars into local currency in order to pay for our stay and the add ons (food and beverages). Try the pumpkin dhal curry dish! 700 rupees and so good!

We stayed one night in the tree hut at Cinnabar, C was awesome!
Everything is beautiful, clean, well thought out and the food is very good!

Miguel was at small care with us and in + he offered us the tuk Tuk back (+ Coffee and water bottle in the meantime)!
We really would have liked to stay + long in this little piece of paradise!

I spent four days at the Tango Reef. It is located by the ocean fairly close to town. The breeze off the water is really nice and makes sitting on their patio very comfortable. It sits a block or so off the main road so it is quiet The staff are very cooperative and do everything they can to make the visit pleasant. The rooms are clean and large.

Our family stayed at Tango Reef 3 nights instead of 2 we planned. We got a spacious room with 2 big and really comfortable beds, non AC, lets say hot but it wasn't really as hot as you could expect reading some reviews. The attached bathroom was comfortable, and big enough, water was really hot all the time and the whole place is very clean. Ask for a good price and you we'll get it.
