We really enjoyed our one-night stay at Shaoguang188 when we visited Sun Moon Lake. The B&B was conveniently located near the Shuishe Pier. We coordinated our check-in with the onsite employee and were pleased with the high level of communication. Upon check-in, the front desk staff served us a welcome beverage and dessert. We are able to communicate well using Google Translate as we are unable to speak Chinese. We also received many recommendations from the onsite staff on food options and activities. The bed and room were very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The room had a smart TV and Bluetooth speaker available for our use. There were also a lot of additional nice touches to the room, including a face mask, mosquito wall plug-in, and high-end bathroom products. Also, given its convenient location, we were able to walk to the lake to watch the sun rise. We also highly enjoyed the included breakfast. Staying at Shaoguang188 was a highlight of our trip, and we highly recommend this B&B for anyone visiting Sun Moon Lake. Definitely one of our favorite memories.
