Stunning, elegant, yet unpretentious hotel that captures and maintains representation of an historic era in Southern California. A must see, even if you don't take a room. Stop by for cocktails with a stunning view of Point Loma and surrounding harbors. Pricey, come prepared.

My wife and I had lunch and cocktails here and had a WONDERFUL time. Great food and drinks!

Great place near the beach, food it’s very good the rooms are very nice.

The fact that it is beach front is enough for me… park the car once and everything is walking distance… great food, fun shopping, deep sea fishing and all types of other water sports.

Great views, heated pool, beach access, and a wonderful spa. Just a paradise.

We had a magical experience at Hotel Del Coronado. From the atmosphere, to the accommodations, to the service, everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you for the beautiful memories for our family!

Service is great, and there was such a beautiful Christmas atmosphere. Honeymoon weekend, and because of Covid a lot of services were limited. They were still able to provide a comp bottle of champagne, and long walks on the beach, beautiful sunsets, and holiday lights provided all the romance we could have hoped for.

The most beautiful rooms with the most exquisite views. Falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves is so relaxing.

BEWARE! if you are a minority guest at the beach village hotel. (hispanic specifically) I was just there with my son and was discriminated on several occasions by the minority staff. They felt the need to see proof that I was indeed a guest at the villas. The first discrimination was from the heavy set mexican male waiter at the windsor cottage. I walked in with my son to have dinner and he was standing by the small gate next to the BBQ and I said to him dinner for 2. He immediately stopped me and told me that area was " private" I told him " I know That" I am staying at the beach village and are a member here. He felt embarrassed and then proceeded to treat me like a guest. The second occasion was right the next day for breakfast. Another hispanic looking gentlemen tall and dark hair, light skin asked me if I was a guest and I said yes. Another man who felt embarrassed and then served me coffee. The third, was at the windsor club on the beach were they set you up with chairs and umbrellas. I told the darker skinned mexican american. I am staying here and pointed right to my room which is a few steps away. He said what is you room number I told him and he wrote it down on his ledger and then asked me If I can show him the key to my room and I did. Note: None of these employees asked any other guest to prove they are staying there or even question when a guest walked in for dinner or asked for chairs and umbrellas. I observed how these particular employees treated other guest.

Where to start? I really want to love the Beach Village at the Hotel Del Coranodo. This is our second stay at the Beach Villages. The apmospere is amazing! The beaches are fabulous, the rooms are spacious, and the staff is amazing. The problem is although the staff is, the Hotel seems under staffed or unable to keep up with the amount of guess during on season. Example, placing a breakfast order can be challenging at best. It could take you an hour or longer to get hold of room service or longer. There waa several occasions where we got breakfast around 10:30 AM after starting on it around 8 AM. The Beach Villages does offer a independent breakfast place complimentary to guest. The issue is this place however nice doesn't offer a lot of seating for it's guest. So we ended up getting the food to go and ate back in the rooms. Anyways, the Beach Villages offers a unique apmospere but it maybe worth waiting till the off season. But, that kinda defeats the perpuse of a Summer vacation.

Staff has attitude. Prepare to speak to a manager… Seems to do the trick.

Came for a wedding. It was beautiful.

Help!? Room service, anyone, Bueller? This place is so annoying. I have 2 small children and have been dialing concierge and room service all day from our in room phone and it’s constantly busy. My children have been living off of goldfish and cheese. In addition, I requested a child baby gate for the villa with a second story… never came. No turn down service, basically at $2500 a night you’d think they could hire more staff to accommodate their guests. Edited because I just went down to beach village front desk and he said hotel is fully committed and that’s why the lines are busy. I’ve been dialing multiple hours all day today. In my opinion the hotel needs help in the management department… at the nightly rate I’m paying I’d rather rent a house and fend for myself then stay here.

Disgusting on so many levels. First, the rooms are nice but the ants are HORRIBLE. I sit down on the couch, ants crawling down my arm. Ants in the bed, in the bathroom, on the walls, walking across the carpet, even crawling out of the phone. We are not talking a couple here and there… my daughter had a carryout of pb&j in a container and in less than 30 minutes HUNDREDS of ants were devouring it on the desk. It makes sense why they are out of control… maintenance and service is obviously lacking. The in-room gas fire-lace wouldn't light… but the smell of gas will quickly fill the room if you tried to use it. One night after room service, we called for them to pick up the plates. They said to leave it outside our door. We did, but they never came. Hundreds of ants loved that. They do a nice smores roast on the beach (dozens of campfires). Unfortunately, they did it right outside our cottage. Our eyes burned and all of our clothes smelled like a campfire even though we never went to it and had all of the doors closed in the cottage. I hate to think how much smoke my 4 year old was exposed to for simply laying in her bed. We paid a ton to have a beautiful private view of the beach… instead the hotel had a huge loud private party for the hotel's local "membership" they sell as a type of country-club membership. They put the party smack-dab between our villa and the ocean. This had an EXTREMELY loud band that was literally 20 feet off our deck.
