Unfortunately Hilton SF not really into customer service. My flights from TX were canceled due to inclement weather, HSF refuses to even consider canceling my reservation. It was made through priceline who tried to reach out to them and to no avail…. When I spoke with them they said they will charge me fully though this is out of my hands. I KNOW you can do better!

Great location, lots to do and see within walking distance. Hotel has covid measures I'm place. If you have a car I suggest the park and stay Rate. In/out privileges are def a bonus in this area. In room coffee nice touch. Staff is friendly and helpful. Decided to extend our stay, process was seamless!

I don’t have the words to express my gratitude towards the ladies at the desk last night. They all went above & beyond to majestic my trip memorable. It’s hard to relax when you are in town fighting cancer within your brain…. But these ladies & their generosity eased my mind and the sleep was the best I’ve had in many moons. Thank You!

Clean the rooms better and clean the carpet and have more comfortable beds. Our beds were so bad and had blood stains all over the blankets. I went and bought our own blankets to use.

It does NOT. Represent the quality of hotel we are use to from The Hilton. It's old and outdated. The carpet in the room smelled like stinky feet, had to spray febreeze galore! no microwave, no refrigerator. They need more king beds. The windows on the Bayside need to be kept clean, at all times, to really appreciate the view. The decor needs to represent the China district that it sits in the middle of.

Rooms are dusty, no amenities (maybe because of Covid) windows are disgusting, the air conditioner door was off its hinges when we walked in the room. Not worth the $$. Go to the Westin.

The manager and staff are very friendly. We stayed @ 21st floor and our view was amazing. It was a nice stay for 4days. I will be coming back there!

Worst Hilton experience so far. As Diamond HH member I did not receive any valuable upgrade. The room that was supposed to be better (executive floors) was small, very old, smelly and very noisy. The executive lounge was dirty, small and quite disappointing. Definitely not up to the Hilton standards. As a frequent traveler with Hilton I was expecting a better service, a real upgrade or a better room.

Quiet, very clean, excellent staff and we came to San Francisco for our wedding anniversary. When we came in from sight seeing all day and night, there was a cheese tray and a bucket with a bottle of champagne, two glasses and a beautiful card from the staff wishing us a Happy Anniversary!

This hotel is an excellent location if you are a tourist. This is a large hotel. It’s located in union square where there are plenty of shopping areas and places to eat. I stayed for work and have been to this hotel before. I have always had great experiences. You are also near public transit and several car rental companies across the street. The hotel has 3 towers, tower 1 is the tallest and offers the best views in my opinion. If you are a Hilton honors gold member or above you receive free continental breakfast or drink coupons. The rooms were very nice and the in my photo is from the 29th floor in tower 1 facing north. Overall t.

This is a large hotel in the Union Square area. The place has a huge lobby, and a bar square in the middle. From the looks of things, the hotel is very popular with tourists, as the lobby was always packed with them. There is a very nice convenience market to one side of the lobby. You can find wine, beer, cheeses, fruit, snacks, etc here. The market also has a coffee shop and a cafeteria style hot food bar as well. The gym is equipped with very nice equipment, although it could use more free weights and benches; there are only two benches. I cannot comment on the restaurant or pool as I did not use them. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. I had a room in tower which faced the street; it was somewhat noisy. However, I've stayed in tower as well, and tower is quiet. Overall, very nice hotel.

Got a nice view from our window. Location is convenient for Bart and it is walking distance from some nice shopping districts as well as the cable cars. Maids were nice when we requested service after regular rounds. Rooms, elevators, and lounge are clean. Complementary breakfast got smaller, though. No longer drink, pastry, and fruit from the lobby store for two. Just $20 every day. Also, definitely not a cheap hotel. Overall a great stay, though.

Great location, clean rooms and excellent service. We had a great time. I was pleasantly surprised about the pool. Because San Fran isnt very warm, the pool temperature is cranked up a bit and it felt great! The view of the city from the top floor is amazing too. I would definitely go back.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with phenomenal customer service. Our room was beautiful. The only reason I don't give it a 5 is because they don't have room service between 10 a. M. And 6 p. M. And because I wish they had better breakfast service. We were there for a convention and there were very long lines to get coffee and food in the morning so we walked elsewhere. Lots of places nearby. Everything else was perfect and City scape views are pretty amazing.

Nearly $60/night for parking. $3 for water. Poor washroom layout — super low shower heads too. Paper thin walls (hear absolutely everything your neighbors are doing… everything! ). And we had a rather rude/stuck up receptionist we dealt with a couple times… and we’d get a text message from him 1-2 times a day I think that’s really crossing the personal privacy line! Oh, and they charge your account right away and other stuff without informing us!

So this was are second time staying at this Hilton Location the first time was good, but they didn’t give us the bayview room, but it was fine. The second time I called made reservations on the phone to ensure the room. The breakfast down stairs in the lobby is much better then the one upstairs it was crowded up there and they ran out of most of the fruit and other items. So we went into The city to eat instead. The staff was pleasant just make sure you confirm everything in your reservation clearly. The valet parking is $60 so keep that in mind, but it is worth it. Parking is expensive everywhere. This one is right at the hotel so it is more convient.

It's hard to park on the street, the parking building is super expensive. San Francisco Light and shadow space travel agency. Don't go the usual way, look at the United States in depth. Please Kamishin SFAirport.

Great location, definitely worth paying to be close downtown. We had a beautiful view of the city from our balcony on the 42nd floor. We also enjoyed the views from Cityscape, the bar on the top floor. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We spoke with the front desk/reception, bell desk, doorman, and valet. We also enjoyed the texts from staff. Very helpful. The room was clean and nicely decorated. My only complaint is that the bathroom didn't have a fan. The room steamed up with the shower running, so a fan would've been good to clear the mirror.

Won't be staying here again. They have the most absurdly small bathrooms. Small to the point they are unusable. No counter space, except for this thin sliver, which is smaller than my toiletry bag, and not even enough space to mount a toilet paper holder. They just left the toilet paper above the toilet. It's not super clear from the picture, but the sink is so small that my hands can barely fit in without touching the sides while washing my hands. The water pressure was good but the result was that I splashed a bunch of water on my shirt almost every time I washed my hands. Unless you want to upgrade to a bigger room, which is significantly more expensive, and then still the bathrooms are worse than every other hotel I've stayed at in the area. Every other hotel in the area has much nicer, more usable bathrooms for a similar price.

Nice location. The city's view is awesome from high-floor rooms. Front desk clerks were welcoming and professional. Also the Poached Restaurant we're I had breakfast. Although I did presence an uncomfortable incident… I saw one of the waiters that's sneezed way to close to the riches of a table.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… The hotel was clean and nice, very big but signage isn't exactly clear when it comes to finding your way between towers. The lobby bar isn't open until much later in the day, so it's hard to find a meeting space for smaller meetings that isn't the restaurant. My room was near the elevator and you could definitely hear that throughout the night. But it's a very clean hotel, with friendly staff and close to a lot of things. Enjoyed my stay there!

The Hilton Hotel am Union Square is a super Central hotel. The rooms were nice sized and clean. At one point or another it needs some minor repairs… Throughout I was very satisfied but would have expected more for a Hilton hotel. The entrance hall unfortunately reminded me a bit of a station hall… very noisy and very lively.

Had a bit of a tough time checking in, but once inside our room we were very pleased. 43rd floor has outstanding views of the city day and night. The bed and pillows are great! Had a wonderful sleep! Staff friendly, breakfast staff at Poached was also great! The hot breakfast was full of choices. Bacon, sausage, hotcakes, French toast, etc. The steel cut oats with lots of toppings was a favorite. Our meals were comp'd so that was even better! I'm only taking off 1 star because the walls are too thin! We could hear everything next door. Nothing rated R (thank God! ) But we could hear conversations and so that was just weird! Aside from that I would recommend this hotel close to everything and I'd stay again.

The rooms were nice but very very old, the Wi-Fi is overly overpriced 18 dollars a day really not nice here. In addition, all this can only be paid with card. I want to get away as soon as possible… So here's more sham than his.

' High cost, zero service! ' The reception of the hotel is similar to a station hall — we had to queue for the check-in, even with a high Hilton status level (Diamond) … apparently far too little staff, I really haven't experienced that.
We had booked a double room with single beds — it was a large room with simple furnishings, mattresses for my taste too soft.
Generally, the hotel was laid out in the hallways with older carpets, valves in the bathroom were calcification, some black hair on the white towels. The service was poor: Breakfast exclusive, Wi-Fi only due to status and parking very expensive (the public parking garage opposite costs $30 less to you night) for us the hotel was a pure thing.
Only the view was great there on the top floors, we were Sylvester there for fireworks.

Checking into registration was and breeze and Nora was very kind and assisting with getting me checked in. I had an amazing time on the 46th floor and I have to say "WOW" an experience of it's own. Excellent service. Beautiful views. Strong drinks. Overall a win!

We took a room on the 7th floor, the view was amazing. It was clean and the architecture was wonderful too. The staff were friendly. Also close to everything so it’s easy to move around. Highly recommend this place when you are looking for a place to stay in San Francisco.

Attended the Saastr 2018 conference. Ten thousand people in this hotel's meeting spaces is not good. Way too many people for the accommodations. Place was a fire hazard around the clock and shoulder-to-shoulder in and every hallway. Anyone suffering from claustrophobia would have had a hell of a time participating in this event. The hotel alone is awesome. Rooms are great. Staff was great. The main lobby bar was good place but again there was a thousand people at it, about 900 too many.

Amazing staff. Room service and cleaning crew is on top of their game. So super nice. If you want honest suggestions for good food places to eat and directions to best places to hit in the evenings, go to the "bell hops" / "luggage guys" (apologies for using such terms for such awesome guys). These guys will point you in the right direction. Much appreciated.

Not a good place for a stay, because they have no courtesy or give you a free bottle of water, the parking is very expensive and breakfast is not said, before breakfast ask why, for any breakfast that was 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and 2 orange juice and PO CA fruit charged US $100 they can believe. For 2 people.
Before take Breakfas ask about the price because is too expensive, they dont tell you anything, for 2 breakfast I pay $100, its impossible for 2 eggs, 2 orange juice, 2 pancakes. Sorry but its true.

I wish it had a fridge and microwave, but I loved the business desk set up facing out the window. It was a nice place to stay for New Years. It would have been cool to have a free breakfast too. It seems like the more you pay, the less you get. And we got trapped in the parking garage for over 30 min, and had somewhere to be! I had paid $60 at the desk with a receipt the night before, but it said we couldn't leave unless we paid an additional $85. No one around to help us, and when we called the hotel they wouldn't help us. So finally we got out, went all the way back up to the lobby and got it "validated". Not sure why that didn't happen when I paid! But I'd come back. The fish in the lobby were cool too.

Hotel immense, gym open 24h, only flaws rooms a little ' dated and poor supply of shampoo, bubble bath etc… great location to visit the city. In the vicinity there is everything: bar, supermarket, restaurants.

Yelp and Google have it listed as open at 4:30pm but they don't open until 5pm. If you're nice to the security, they will ley you up early. Enjoy the beautiful views!

Overall, not the greatest stay. The line to check in was huge and took about 30 minutes. Longer than the security check line at the airport earlier that day! When we first arrived at the airport, we saw that the line was huge so they encouraged us to leave our bags, go shopping, and come back, which we did. When we came back 2 hours later, the line was just the same. They had 5 people helping the line for Hilton honors guests (which was still a very long line), and only 3 helping EVERYONE else, a very frustrating experience, I have never experienced this at a hotel before. Aside from that, parking for one night was $65, the one phone call I made because I couldn't find my phone was $7, and the mini bar wasn't even stocked. The location is walking distance to Union square but on the border of the crappy part of town so I wouldn't wonder in the other direction. Oh and breakfast is $45. Prepare to have them nikel and dime you.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… This is a huge hotel with almost 2000 rooms, probably the biggest in SF. That said, this hotel does not meet the level of the Hilton brand. (A huge facility does not justify non-conformity with the standards set by the Hilton). Rooms need to be renovated: the decor is the 80s, you can hear the next room's shower water, amenities are limited (shoe mat? ), no central lighting switch, and the bathtub and shower are literally of the 70s (shower curtain…) The location, though, is excellent: at the heart of San Francisco. Hilton should either upgrade the property to meet Hilton's global standards or re-brand the property under the Hilton Garden Inn.

A strange problem is not providing a shuttle bus to the airport. Otherwise, everything is good, rather on the contrary — very well, you feel like a man!

Stayed in two different rooms coming in to San Francisco checking out then returning for departure the following day. Both nights, the bathrooms were very small to tiny. The hotel does have an espresso bar however it isn't on the same level as even an independent corner espresso coffee shop and was extremely overpriced. However, staff is very friendly and do their best to assist patrons with anything they may require especially the concierge desk. Assisted with free business center for printing boarding passes and low cost transportation back to the airport. Love San Francisco; the Hilton is in the financial district with several rental car agencies across the street. Excellent hotel security for outside the hotel moving the undesirables along so as to not bother hotel patrons. Would definitely stay here again.

Your hotel was so nice. Your guest rooms are so clean. The first night we only had one problem: no one had changed the pull out bed. It still had crumbs inside the bed and the sheets were dirty. They came and put on new clean sheets. I would stay at your hotel again and will tell friends and family members.

They are one of the most friendly and fabulous hotels in the City of San Francisco. I have stayed here many times and each time it gets better and better. This past stay when I arived at 9 am in the morning with previously injured ankle. They made sure that I got a room right away. Even though my room was not technically ready they made sure I had somewhere to freshen up and get some paperwork done. Then in the late afternoon when my room was ready they moved me to my room. I love this place, it's centrally located in the financial district, with a friendly staff and great room service.

The proximity to Chinatown and North Beach put this hotel in the perfect place for exploring this corner of the city on foot. Every room at this Hilton has a view of the city, but the bay view is the side you want to stay on. The sweeping view from the Bay Bridge, across the Coit Tower, and over to Russian hill can't be beat! The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The staff is very attentive and they go out of their way to make every stay pleasant.

This hotel is in a great location, is accessible to all the peers and surrounding neighborhoods expectedly Chinatown. The service here was excellent everyone greeted me by my name it made me feel very friendly and I will definitely be back. The room has an amazing view not that big but the whole entire wall is the view over San Francisco. This hotel is highly recommended based on the people that work here and the cleanliness of the rooms and the view from the water side of the building.

Stayed here for a night in the city over Valentine's day. While a bit pricey, it's the hotel is nice, and you get about what you expect from a hilton. The front desk staff definitely vary in their level of professionalism, however. No complaints about the front desk manager that checked us in upon arrival, but the morning staff were fairly loudly dramatizing work place conflicts within earshot of guests, which was kind of off putting.

Amazing views of the Bay and Coit Tower! We stayed on one of the Executive Floors and enjoyed the food/drink at the lounge on our floor. $30 to park at hotel if you don't use in/out privilege — a good value. Walked to North Beach restaurants and Chinatown, next door. No complaints whatsoever. Would wholeheartily recommend and stay here again.

A nice Hilton hotel in a great, central location. Most of the main sights were within walking distance or a short cable car ride away. The staff were very friendly, the rooms are large, the facilities (gym, internet speed, TV channel selections, etc. ) are all excellent and the breakfast is delicious (though horrendously over priced). I would stay here again.

Worst Customer Service: I got a room near to the elevator on 18th room # 1800 on 04/02/2015. Which is very close to the elevator. You can hear loud noise from the elevator going up and down. I called the front desk they told me they (ERIKA) cant change the room all the rooms are booked Elevator will stop at 11.30 PM to 5 AM. The best she can do is she can provide me EAR PLUG. She was insisting on no room change only EAR PLUG. I asked her to transfer to her manager. She put me on hold for few min and then she told me her manager will call me. Her supervisor (MURAD) called me and changed my room and told me many rooms are vacant for today so he can make a change. He personally helped me to change my room from 1800 to 1018. I really appreciate him. What ever ERIKA told is all lies. ERIKA was so rude. Its like if you want you can stay else you can leave. We dont care. This is the room you get for your kind of booking. If you had two more ERIKAs on the front desk all customer will run away. All the Best Hilton. Raj.

This is a great hotel with a view of the Chinatown on the 20th floor. I actually stayed here for the Chinese New Year and I had a great week and a great stay at this hotel. The rooms are nice and also the service.

This hotel is just ok. As a HHonors member I have had much better experiences at other Hilton hotels. The lobby was nice, but our room was just ok. I thought it was ridiculous that they charge $9.95 for Wi-Fi and $3.00 for a bottle of water and no continental breakfast. I would think for $200 a night you could at least get free Wi-Fi. Plus parking was outrageous. You'd think if you're guest and park in the Hilton parking garage they could validate your parking or at least discount it. Then my 4yr old accidentally left his pillow/stuff animal in our room. I called to see if the staff found it and the lady just mumbled something I couldn't understand and hung up on me.

The service was really good. The rooms weren't as fancy as expected and need a renewal at some points and the sliding bathroom doors sucked. It was a nice stay for that price. Nothing else to complain about.

My old mother got stuck in bathroom for hours when bathroom sliding door got locked. They have installed sliding doors for bathroom as cheapest way to keep their spending budget low. These Sliding door does not work very well or may be not been lubricated properly so when you close it all the way, gets stuck and there is no way to open it from inside bathroom unless you break the glass. IT IS LIKE A DEATH TRAP! Be careful and if possible, take your business somewhere else.

I made a reservation, then realized without ten minutes I accidently booked the wrong date. I called back trying to change the date which they would not let me do for whatever reason. So I just tried to cancel my reservation which they also wouldn't do. Then they billed my card the full amount knowing I wouldn't be there. Worst service I have ever had.

Being Member of Hilton Honors I catered my business friends at Hilton. One of my potential business friend from Europe visited me and as usual I booked this Hilton Hotel. To my surprise I had the worst experience of my life and lost my face in front of my business client. On April 7, 2014 at 9:00 am after breakfast one of our guest Lady wanted to use the restroom and the room key was with her husband who was talking outside with the Limo-driver, she requested the Concierge for the restroom key. The idiot Concierge dealt her very unprofessionally. Rather helping her he kept her busy while talking to his girlfriend. Then directed her to upper floor and again busy with phone. This foreign Lady went upstairs and again the restroom needed a key. Overall she could not use the restroom. No wonder my business friend requested me to book other hotel and not Hilton. I sincerely request the Hilton Management to TEACH their staff some courtesy and respect how to deal with guests or shut this hotel business.
