Bang for the buck. Very clean rooms. Heard a lot of footsteps from the room above. But luckily, not around the sleeping time. Would definitely recommend for a safe and cheap option. The Manager was very friendly and helped out whenever required.

Great motel in a great location. Check in was very quick. I think I was given the ADA compliant room on the first floor. The room was clean and well lit. There's a microwave, coffee maker, and a larger mini fridge. The bathroom is large and there's a tub. The king bed and pillows are on a firmer side. There's free parking but it fills up later at night. There are two lots, one on either side of the motel. There is no room to turn around in the lots so either back into the lots or be prepared to back out into the street in the morning. Thankfully the motel is located right by a street light so it's not too hard to find a gap in traffic. It's also near a bunch of great restaurants and its really close to the water. I would definitely stay here again.

We chose this hotel due to it's much lower price point while still receiving positive reviews and we were happy with our choice overall. Plenty of restaurants and bar options in walking distance. The room themselves were surprisingly quiet and comfortable. The negative things that stick out to me are the cramped parking and tight quarters within the rooms. All things considered we had a pretty good stay.

Classic motel, simple but clean. Yes good welcome and well advised for the nearby restaurants, bus lines to travel through San Francisco.

This served our purpose perfectly. Good location for some of the tourist locations in and around the Marina district. The room was clean and comfortable enough for this visot. The free parking was a giant perk as well. I'd stay here again and recommend it.

This was a petty decent place to stay. I wasn't expecting much when I drove up, but was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were actually very nice and there was free parking to boot.

You get what you pay for. Don't expect brilliant room service and shiny appliances. The rooms are open to an outdoor facing balcony so noise can be a problem in the rooms closer to the street. There was a strong weed-esque smell in some areas. The room appeared clean and had everything you would expect: TV, iron, coffee machine and thermostat. Coffee machine was broken in my room. Desk staff was courteous. All in all, if you need a reasonably priced place to stay in SF and don't mind slumming it a little, this place will give you a heated room and clean bed. Don't expect luxury because you will be disappointed.

Very clean and quiet. Staff is friendly and very honest if you forget stuff. Definitely will stay here again.

Booked rooms here for my sister's bachelorette weekend. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfy. The only complaint I had was the people on the floor above us stomping around at all hours of the night.

It's a perfect location for biking in Presidio National Park area and Golden Gate bridge. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The housekeepers were courteous. There's a laundry room, which is convenient for the bikers after a sweaty day. We will definitely come back when we visit SF again.

Helpful staff, decent facilities and relatively accessible to the rest of the city. Pretty safe location. Good to crash for the night after exploring SF. Car noises present but unsurprising given its on Lombard st. Got a little cool with the floorboards but the heater does a great job.

We were there in September. A super motel. Everything newly renovated and very clean. Very friendly staff. The motel is very centrally located and there is free parking. I can only recommend this hotel. Again at any time.

The truth very well the service the rooms all clean comfortable good place to stay for me and my family very comfortable pleasant December last year I was there and this saying I plan to stay with my family there so q the truth I recommend!

Excellent. Clean, comfortable with parking and the perfect attention. Very comfortable to get in and out. With good places to eat in the surroundings and buses to go come in the same corner. Recommended.

At first glance, the outside looks to be a run-of-the-mill motel, but inside the rooms are plush, showers warm and powerful and the bed large and comfy. There was some traffic noise and noise from other rooms, but not enough to keep us awake. The location is good, in walking distance to a supermarket, the golden gate bridge and the fisherman's walk area, and is on a couple of bus lines (though can be tricky to get to from San Francisco airport! )

The hotel is very well located and the reception was very friendly.
The parking is very convenient in this city where everything is paid.
Regarding the room it is useful functional but deserved a small refresh level paint, we got a little cold, we want to put the radiator but a strong odor escaped damage.

Sizable and clean. Easy to walk to surrounding restaurants and shops, and onsite parking was great, particularly in a city like SF. I had very poor customer service from owner, Roger, and site manager, Jenish. A family checked in shortly after midnight the night we were there. Very thin walls and non-carpeted floors meant we heard everything … for three hours! I called the front office at 12:30am, letting it ring several times over two calls before the phone was picked up. The night clerk assured me he'd call the room and let them know they needed to quiet down. If he did as he said, they did not follow suit. While I know there may have been little the night clerk could have truly done, my problem is with Roger and Jenish. After several phone calls during the days following our stay, I finally spoke with Roger who told me he'd speak with Jenish and one of them would call me. The next day, I called again, and was told that Jenish and Roger were not on site, but would be in later. It took several days to finally reach Jenish. At first, he was somewhat accommodating, telling me that Roger had agreed to a 10% refund for our inconvenience. When I began talking about that, stating that I appreciated 10%, but felt if really wasn't what should be done, he interrupted me, saying that I could go ahead and take it to social media and do whatever I wanted. He then told me that Roger had family issues, going into some detail about those, and that I should just do whatever I wanted.

Leaving out the cost of the room that however is in line with the exaggerated prices of the city, I can only give a more than positive rating, very nice room and very kind and helpful staff, great location.

Great location and nice recently renovated rooms. Quiet area and plenty of free parking. Staff was friendly and helpful. Give one less star for the price/value but would probably stay here again!

Rooms are renovated and clean. The décor is also OK. And departure went smoothly — nice staff. The location is also good — most of the sights are also within walking distance.

It was great. Walking distance to fisherman's wharf. The beds were comfy and clean. The apartment had a great look inside. I would happily stay here again. And it's definitely in one of the nicer parts of city.

The location was great, me and friends booked the suite and the service was great.

The best experience ever. I wish I could take this hotel with us to where ever we travel. Updated, clean room with a friendly vibe. Thank you for doing what you do so well.

We stayed two nights here and both were pretty much sleepless due to the noise. The first night we were kept awake by drunken students in the rooms above us. We told management, but they did nothing. Screaming and jumping around until 2:45am. The next night the students were gone and replaced by someone who seemed to be running back and forth in his room all night. The floors are paper thin and you can here everything. We were very dissatisfied wth our stay here and management did nothing for us. Not recommend.

Furnishings were very nice as it was recently remodelled. Wood floor, marble bathroom with tile. Perhaps the most comfy bed I've slept in. The room above me had kids that loved to run which did make the floor more like a drum at times but I don't expect that would be common. You can hear some street traffic but it is kind of in a bay away from the street so it really was more like white noise to me. There is a walgreens, gap and many restaurants in walking distance. I recommend it for getting in touch with the city. If you want a fortress of solitude go elsewhere :D.

The outside of the motel needs to be updated as the staff said this coming winter of 2015 is next. The remodeling of the rooms is beautiful! My room had new microwave new refrigerator, The beds was soft and new and comfortable with no bed bugs as the other people said. When I arrived the first thing I did was to check the room. The bathroom was all tile shower was GREAT. The staff was friendly and well manned. I can't say enough about how nice my stay has been. I was there with my nephew in late Sept for 4 days. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone needing a motel for a reasonable price. The only thing I have negative is the first room on top floor is you can hear all the outside noise and the staff had no problem moving me. Another important thing was the private parking that set my mind at ease for the days and nights in San Francisco.

Interior renovated, very nice and clean, very well located, the only bad thing was the noisy room, noisy during the night, very near the street, high traffic flow.

The new remodeling is beautiful! My room had pergo flooring, which when I walked in white socks proved to be quite clean! The bed was soft but comfortable. When I arrived the first thing I did was to check the beds, the new management has them covered with excellent mattress protectors. The bathroom was all tile. Shower was small, but really clean. House keeping was great. They did a very nice job. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Always with a hello and a how are you enjoying your stay. Sushi place down the street was phenomenal! I can't say enough about how nice my stay has been. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone visiting on a budget.

BEDBUGS! And the manager was very rude about it didn't care that he was kicking me out at 2:30am and even started to use the N word towards me.

For any price, it's not fun coming home with bed bug welts. Just because it was on the penninsula of San Francisco they can justify 2 beds for $150. Other rooms that were available in the area came to the 2-3 hundred range. Even when we used my own bedding, the bed bugs in the mattress and in the carpet found their way to my arms, hands, leg, belly. And I'm allergic, one bed bug bite leaves a welt on my inner forearm 2 inches in diameter. I woke up to fell something there on my arm and half awake ad brushed it off me. It must have been an engorged one because it felt like a little ball, but I threw it off the side of the bed when I did find it had fallen on my mattress next to me. Yuck! I went home with 10 bites. My 7-yr-old son also has bites on his legs and arms, my poor baby he's itching like crazy. I saw the evidence of the bedbugs on the mattress in the form of thier feces and then there were little spots of blood, possibly from the squashed bugs in the bed. Sleep did not come easy when the neighboring guests stayed up much of the night drinking and arguing. There is no staff on site during the night, if I did decide to complain, they wouldn't have been able to do anything about it. There was a gap under the door of the room that let all the cold air in, I had to put a towel under the door to keep out the drafty air. There were fair accomodations T. V.

The front desk was VERY nice! He gave us a nice room for Valentine's Day for very cheap. When we seen there wasn't a fridge, he switched our rooms to an even better one with fridge and microwave. I would recommend this room to anybody. SUPER good for the price.

Perfect accommodations for the business traveler. Reasonable rates. Nice, clean rooms. Convenient location. Close to Restaurants, shops and Muni to downtown San Francisco.
