Everything about this hotel is top class. The people are great and comforting, the bar has a great a selection, and the view in my room was next level. I highly recommend staying here with friends, family, or to get a way.

Everything! An amazing hotel with amazing staff!

Over the last two years, I have had at least a dozen occasions to stay at the The St. Regis San Francisco, most recently celebrating my birthday. From the valet to the front desk; the concierge to the phone operators; every member of this team is extraordinary. While I love the rooms, location and amenities, San Francisco has many wonderful places to stay, but… It is the the TEAM at The St. Regis San Francisco, that stands out as the reason it is always my first choice.

Accessible to anything like restaurants, museums and shops!

The staff is so friendly and cheerful and the interior design is modern and lovely.

They were very accommodating to us giving us everything we needed after the airline lost our luggage.

Almost certainly the nicest luxury hotel in San Francisco. Location is extremely convenient being close to Moscone and Market St. Great bar downstairs with daily 6PM "Champagne Sabering" ceremony. Booked a stay and noted I was traveling with my wife to celebrate our recent marriage. Was blown away to see that staff had prepared a personalized hand written note and a complimentary bottle of wine congratulating our marriage.

Attended a professional event for the day. The catering was delicious and the service was great: attentive and quick. My only criticism would be: we all sat at huge tables all day and there were no power outlets available. When hosting a tech/game company, perhaps it would behove the hotel to provide some charging stations for computers. Guests provide their own cords, naturally.

My boyfriend and I stayed one night for a little getaway. The hotel in general as well as the room is beautiful. The service was amazing! Will stay again here in the near future!

If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIBully. Com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere! Came here for a wedding, venue was gorgeous. Entrance is tucked away in an alley, pulling up to valet was a little narrow. The outdoor terrace was covered which was so nice because it does get quite chilly and windy in the city. The reception area was tidy, bar was fast. Plated dinner food was pretty good (had the cod), though service was a little lacking (understandable given size of group). Overall left with a great impression.

Superb service! Bed was amazing! Stayed in Suite 711 w Butler service. Fabulous! Can't wait to visit again.

I’ve stayed at the StR SF over a dozen times in the last few years and absolutely love it. The SoMa location, the butler service, the incredible concierge, and wonderful food/beverage, the amazing lobby bar, and the wonderfully modern and spacious rooms and suites make this the best in the city and my favorite city hotel in the USA.

Very nice hotel. Decent room size, great city view. Great pool, nice size gym and pretty good restaurant.
The restaurant can do a little upgrade as the carpet and chairs are pretty beat up.
Restaurant’s menu is pretty dated. Food was good but not impressive.
Overall very good but for a five star hotel. Little details could have been better.

This is specific to breakfast this morning. They had the NBA Pelicans at the hotel and at last minute closed the dining room for breakfast causing us to eat in the lobby at small coffee tables. The St Regis should remember ALL their guests not just the “famous” ones. It was not a great experience.

Beautiful hotel and guest services are second to none! Everything was spectacular from food to service! Room has refrigerator stocked with alcohol and sodas and snacks as well. Butler/maid service twice a day and turn down service at night. Slippers and robes are complimentary to use throughout your stay. Pool was clean and warm. Ordered room service and loved it. They give you a time your meal will arrive so there’s no guessing when its coming. Bar service was good and wait staff very attentive. The only thing I can find to complain about is the soap, shampoo and the bath wash needs to go! The bath wash leaves blue plastic particles all over you and the tub. The shampoo and conditioner are not good and smell funny. Everything is so beautiful the bath soaps matter too!

The food and service was amazing. Our waiter, Kent, was extremely attentive and super polite. The salad we had was extremely fresh and everyone made our dining experience as pleasant as we had hoped it would be.

The facility was a gorgeous and nicely sized space for my company's annual meeting. The food was rather exceptional and the service set a new high bar. At no time did we run out of water, coffee, or soda. The AV worked flawlessly throughout multiple presentations. I would recommend this space to any company looking for a great experience for their business events.

The staff here is on point with their service and you get that five start experience that you're paying for. The lounge on the first floor is beautiful with comfortable seating for small or large groups. Love when we can grab a spot in front of the gas look through fireplace. There are definitely old guys looking for young girls vibes going on so just have fun watching it all happen while catching up with friends over drinks or I mean go here if that's your sort of thing.

I attended a fundraising dinner at the St. Regis hotel. The event included a live auction and dinner. The space was modern and classy, and most importantly the food was excellent. Food at catered events like this can be hit or miss, so it was a pleasant surprise to get good food. Additionally the wait staff were attentive and professional.

Talk about exceptional service. Obviously the hotel is beautiful, but the workers there made it a treat!

Very friendly staff. The system lost our reservation, but they fixed it quickly. The room was clean and convenient, giving us peace of mind for our night in the city (we were there for a holiday party). There bar can get crowded, so try to camp out early.

Just went there for drinks, the inside was very nice and it had a great calm atmosphere. Service was ok but not absolutely amazing. Drinks were delicious.

I had a wonderful stay here. The staff was very accommodating and so very professional and friendly. The room was always perfection. Room service offers a lovely selection, it is severed quickly and perfectly to order. After a long day out and about the St. Regis room service is very satisfying. Everything about this establishment is utterly top notch. I would recommend a stay of any length here to everyone.

Best Starwood, well now Marriott, hotel I have stayed at in the US the staff is attentive, the rooms are large and very well maintained with plenty of amenities the food at the restaurant and lobby is great, the restaurant has a local organic menu, the wine list is as good as it can get and along with Luca the hotels sommelier there will be something for everyone on it The hotels pool comes in convenient along with the spa if you are attending a trade show the location is pretty much the best The only thing that might bother you is that if a large gym is important to you, you will not be happy here, but that said, most guests will not stay here for such a long time that this would truly matter a great hotel, with great staff, I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Excellent SF city hotel right in the SoMA district, with all the amenities one could ask for. Good gym on the premises. Pool is not up to par. Be prepared to pay for the location and services. On the high side of SF hotels.

Very sleek lobby bar. Service was great even though we were sitting in the lobby away from the bar. Pricey but what do you expect from a St Regis?

Room was very spacious and comfortable. We had a nice view. Front desk was accommodating for requests (needed a toothbrush)

We love staying here a few times a year. The staff is so friendly and they are always so accommodating to my two small kids. We especially love the pool which is on the 6th floor and looks over the city. I would highly recommend the St Regis SF.

Came for a quick city break to SF. Chose this hotel because it looked modern, fresh and top shelf. It did not disappoint. The corner room we booked was large and beautifully decorated. Modern, clean, stylish and oozed quality. Bed super comfy. I booked the romance package so we were a bit disappointed that A) the champagne wasn't in our room on arrival and B) it wasn't actually champagne. They did remedy that quickly however. The breakfasts were fantastic. Really tasty and hit the spot nicely. Location great. Quiet stay as well.

Love this hotel! Am a frequent returning guest and can never get enough of this place! Everything is so perfectly laid out, and the decor is simple, elegant, and well thought of. Just being in the room makes you happy. Let alone the super friendly staff. The view is also amazing from nearly every room I've been in. Huge bath tub in the middle of the room makes it so versatile — — you can close it off and enjoy bath to yourself, or you can open it up and watch a movie on the TV while having a glass of wine. Pure perfection.

Very difficult to navigate if you have a car but close to BART. Really nice hotel and well appointed lobby. Bar is pricey even for a hotel bar and youd think they'd invest more in quality cocktails and solid bartending staff given the hotel quality and prices… But they don't.

Attended an office holiday party here and was blown away by the food. Yes, ambiance and service were terrific too, but it's really rare to see banquet food that's prepared this well.

The St. Regis hotel in San Francisco is about a 10 mins walk from the Powell St. Station. It's a good location with a nice Museum close by. When I first entered the hotel, I was amazed by the modern interior. There are bars in the lobby which seems to be a perfect place for social events. I also got a chance to go upstairs to meet a friend of mine on the 3rd floor where the hotel rooms are. It's very quite and clean upstairs. Overall, I feel like this is a very good place to stay at for business or travel purposes.

Fancy drinks were pretty good but not amazing. The service was great and the bar tender was was very friendly and helpful. I feel that the drinks were a little over priced. We met friends who were staying there and instead of an uber they drove us to our restaurant in a brand new Bently. The door guys were very friendly and the decor/ambiance were top notch. Overall I would go there again for drinks and appetizers.

Beautiful rooms and attention to detail. Service and Butler were amazing. Super deep bathtubs and waterfall showers were also amazing. Also loved the digital bedside command center that controls everything from lights, drapes and sound to ordering room service and notifying do not disturb. Rooms are spacious and feature gorgeous installation art inside of the room! Can't wait to stay again!

Great location. Great rooms. Everything was perfect.

Very disappointing. My $800/night suite had holes in the carpet. The sofa was stained. And no kidding, there was mold in the shower. Good from far, far from good. A couple of the staff were excellent. Most were indifferent. The concierges were cold and incompetent. They bungled our reservations one evening, and another evening, they sent us to a place with food that tasted like it came out of a microwave. We left starving. The valets were excellent. The hotel car, a Bentley, was fabulous. One of the drivers did tell us that the concierges are regularly bribed by restaurants, so that explained the crappy service there. Anyhow, this place may have been great once, but from my view, it's on a rapid decline. Doesn't touch The Four Seasons or great boutique hotels like Opus.

This hotel is so beautiful, I would love to throw a party/wedding here. I love the high ceilings and the option of having a tent outside. The staff was amazing on the tour and were more than willing to answer any questions I had.

St. Regis is part of Starwood — therefore if you have SPG status, you get all the associated benefits, including the in-room Wifi. It delivered a 5-star experience one'd expect from a 5-star hotel for my recent stay. The hotel has an understated elegance throughout. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was as comfortable as Westin's Heavenly Bed if not more; the pillows and comforter were super soft. Everything/every corner felt clean — that's really the most important thing to me personally. I appreciated the attention to details from the high number of outlets in the desk area, the one-button push to lower and raise the two layers of blinds (including darkening blinds that completely block out morning sunlight! ), bathrobes, umbrella in the closet, etc. My favorite part was the huge bathtub — it's a rare luxury nowadays. Service was impeccable. Loved the turndown service — again, attention to details. Slippers and shoeshine tray by the bed. The front desk rep was super nice even after I checked out — I came back to the hotel after my meeting to drop off my bags so I could explore the city before my redeye. She not only took my bags with no question, she even offered me a bottle of water because "it's so hot today. I don't want you to be dehydrated. " On the night of my stay, I was pretty dejected to find the bathtub stopper broken. It was late and I expected at least half an hour wait based on my experiences at other hotels.

Lovely hotel. The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom is very luxurious. In my room there were panels in the bathroom that open so you can see out the window. Great for a bath. Service is top notch. Food from room service is delicious. I also highly recommend Ame in the lobby for dinner.

First let me say that I expect the best from the St. Regis, especially with 4.6 Google stars. Expecting the best and receiving considerably less affected my decision to give the St. Regis San Francisco one star. I asked for a St. Regis limo to pick me up at the airport when I arrived. They sent an Audi and the driver couldn't fit two suitcases in the trunk. I asked him to put one in the back seat and I would ride up front. He said that insurance regulations prohibited that. The "high tech" room control system crashed twice and the two TV's in my suite broke down several times. I called the "engineer" and she told me that the guests continuously complain about the control panel for the lights, curtains, and temperature controls. She told me to expect it to "crash" again and to call her. The maid service was poor and putting on the "please make up room light" did not work. We had to call housekeeping before we had service. There was one exception when a maid walked into our bedroom after we were asleep to do the "turn down". The maid also took the teaspoon that I brought from home out of the bathroom to measure my medication, apparently thinking I'd taken it from the room service cart. The touted butler service is not what I'm accustomed to for butler service. I never saw our butler and I stayed one week. I've had butler service in other luxury hotels and cruise ship suites and they are very attentive and ask you what they can do for you.

What can I say about the St. Regis — currently my favorite hotel in San Francisco. Excellent location, great views, sublime service, beautiful ambiance (no hookers in the bar here — I'm looking at you W Hotel) — I could live here. Wait a second, they have residences?! Looks like I'm not the only one with that idea (I don't even want to see the price tag). We were very well cared for by manager Daniella at the front desk our last stay.
