I was a little hesitant to stay here because of some of the reviews I had read plus no gym but I was going to Vegas for work and did not want to stay on the strip so I chose the English and I’m so glad I did. The hotel was very clean, very nice staff and their ice fridge is adorable. I would stay here again for sure. Yes it is about 15 minutes from the strip so just keep that in mind. Mini fridge and a remote to control the temp were a huge plus. Thank you for a great stay.

I had an okay experience at this hotel. Disappointing in that it was just okay.
It is an artsy boutique hotel which has its pros and cons. It is kinda hip and kinda cool, and I am sadly neither of those, so perhaps I could not appreciate all its charms.
The good: some neat artwork. Good beds and pillows (that is huge for me).
The not so good: not a very good area. Maybe they are hoping more culture will move in, and maybe it will, but it’s kind of desolate right now. Not a great idea to walk around too much at night.
The restaurant was surprisingly unremarkable. Todd English is an unbelievable chef so maybe I unfairly had my hopes up too high, but it didn’t seem like a restaurant that stood out in any way.
And the rooms and bathroom were realy really small. There wasn’t even enough room near the sink to put my toiletries; my toothbrush fell into the sink which grosses me out. First world problems or what?
So I left a little disappointed.

We stayed here based off the reviews saying that it was clean. Upon arrival I wanted to shower and the towels were full of hair. Looks like housekeeping went and got a haircut and dusted off their hairs all over my towels. I took the towels downstairs and they told me that they would send towels up to me. I waited 50 minutes and called down to see if I could go back down to get the towels. The room wasn’t very clean and didn’t smell pleasant. Also be warned that Priceline does NOT list this hotel as 21 and older. Not that it matter there were adults running down the hallways screaming. I would never stay here again. Worst Mariot we’ve ever been to.

If you are looking to stay in the middle of strip action you are not going to like this location. Some people, including me, enjoy staying off the strip, having a car and being able to park close to the hotel entrance. In that respect I thought this hotel was ideal. The parking does get crowded and we did have to park on the street one night but it was still very convenient to us. Also, it was very quiet and we found the staff to be very friendly and great and the snack bags we got… maybe for having Gold status… were a nice touch.
The room itself was not functional. There were no good chairs or decent desk space. As another review mentioned, the HVAC blows directly on your face when you are lying in bed. The bathroom was the worst part for us. The shower leaks all over the floor and through a weird crack on the side onto the sink as well. You also can see a shadow of the person showering from the room which might bother some people. There is no counter space at all. There was a shaving mirror on a floor shelf but no way to actually put it up by the sink and light and actually use it. The bathroom is tiny, especially by Vegas standards, and the heavy door is either in the way or hitting you. The door also doesn't shut sufficiently to give you true privacy.
We were given tokens that covered one breakfast which we weren't expecting so that was a nice surprise… again not sure if that was because of Gold status or goes to everyone.

Insufficiently trained staff, unresponsive leadership and inadequate follow up.
I am a titanium elite member and received horrific service. If this is how they treat someone with high rewards status I can't imagine how they would treat normal guests without status. They seem to care more about their "policy" and the "letter of the law" than taking care of brand loyal customers. I've stayed at over 50 different Marriott properties this year. Everything from travel brands in small towns to their luxury properties. Unquestionably the WORST customer experience I've had this year. There are dozens of Marriott properties in the Las Vegas area do yourself a favor and stay at anyone of those! This whole fiasco was predicated on inaccurate information and poor follow up. It was exacerbated by leadership that didn't take control to swiftly resolve the issue. The onus to resolve the situation kept landing on me. This property never made me feel valued as a customer or Marriott loyalist.
Tried to work with the hotel directly on 3 different occasions. Received inaccurate information and no follow up. Was directed to Marriott corporate. After two more interactions, both of which I was supposed to "receive communication from the property" (both phone calls I was told I would be emailed "probably by the manager") I still had no resolution. Called and accepted a small number of points.
