This is a lovely small hotel in the Financial District. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. It was my second time staying there and I still love it, but I was somewhat disappointed with the suite experience. When you pay so much money for a room, anything less than perfect is not good enough. Unfortunately, this time, there were several reasons: the floor I requested was not available, the room had a strange and impractical layout which didn't make the best use of the space, and finally, I discovered several maintenance issues that were promptly fixed, but still detracted from the experience.

We are spending a few weeks in NYC and are staying in 7 different hotels around the city. The Wall Street hotel has many positive reviews, but unfortunately our experience was not that great. We booked a Carnegie suite for 2 nights. Check-in was an awkward experience. We were greeted with a bewildered “why are you here? ” and when we mentioned we wanted to check-in to our room the host looked surprised and told us “I don’t see any bags” even though the doorman was standing behind us with 4 suitcases. She then went on to tell us that we didn’t get an upgrade to a higher room category, even though we didn’t ask for an upgrade. No information about the amenities of the hotel was shared. The bags were brought to our room and again no explanation about anything in the room. Housekeeping was hit and miss as the first night there was no turn down service. After check-out we found out that there is a recently opened rooftop bar in the hotel, but there is no way of knowing this from any information in the hotel, or interaction with the staff.
Our biggest issue during our stay was that the hotel only offers polyester duvets which makes for an uncomfortable night’s sleep. Our travel agent always requests feather/down duvets and if not available we book somewhere else. In this case the hotel didn’t share with our travel agent that they only offer synthetic duvets.

The bar on the first floor is my favorite downtown. Excellent ambience, clientele, staff. The bartenders are craftsman, take their potion making seriously. Also, they are rather inviting, witty, comical, and full of passion.
Perfect to catch up with a friend or take someone special.

Really fantastic stay. Rooms are very clean and inviting. Super modern and fresh. My room was a suite and had Le LaBo bathroom products which was a nice touch. Great sheets, towels and very light and gentle accessories. Had great views. Public spaces were super cool and inviting and the staff were very fantastic. Location is also fantastic on Wall Street near everything. I was very pleased with my stay here and I stay in a LOT of hotels around the world. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our 5 nights at the Wall St hotel immensely. I recommend the corner suite as it has a cozy lounge area and crackling “fireplace” which created an ambiance we just loved! The staff are well trained and execute their jobs with perfection and kindness. We dined twice at the restaurant and the food was phenomenal. We loved the little bronze oyster bottle openers and candles in our rooms so much we decided to buy them. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.
