This was a good location, the price was right, and the front desk person was friendly and helpful. The room was adequate. I had to air it out from the smell of air freshener/cleaner. It would have been nice to have an outlet by the bed for my phone charger (there was no clock in the room. )

The person who checked us in was very friendly and had a good sense of humor. The room was spacious and clean. I liked that it was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town area, yet still very close to activities. It was within walking distance to food and Jerry's Jet Boats. It would be helpful to have more available power outlets in the room. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay here again.

A lovely stay as always with the friendliest staff one could ever wish for! Just a note: the bathroom was getting a bit run down with the molding coming off, but really, the accommodations were just fine! I appreciated free Wi-Fi again, and the fridge and microwave were great! (The freezer needed defrosting! )

Nice motel nestled up on a hill. Welcoming staff, clean rooms. Be warned there is no air conditioning but didn't matter to us because it was only 60 degrees. They will give you a fan to use if needed. Would stay there again.

This was the nicest motel 6 we've stayed at. The room had 'wood' floor and was quite clean. There was a mini fridge and microwave. Complimentary coffee and hot cocoa in the morning. There was a picnic/grassy area for our puppy to relieve herself on the premises. Location was close to grocery/convenience store. The scenery was lovely in the morning. And most importantly, the staff was friendly.

Clean and quiet. Small pet area was nice for the dogs. Easy access from highway. Beautiful river view. Close to beach and food.

Clerks and owners nice people… very nice location and our upstairs room had a nice view of Gold Beach harbor. Will come back again and also refer this motel 6 to my friends…

We often travel with our two dogs, and always appreciate that Motel 6 accepts our family. We're fans of Motel 6 overall, but this particular location (Gold Beach, Oregon) blew us away! The front desk folks were incredibly friendly and professional; the room was clean, spacious, and welcoming; and the grounds were gorgeous and felt safe and taken care of. Wonderful experience!

Our stay was wonderful. Beyond our expectations! Our room was so comfortable, clean and quiet in a lovely setting and views! The staff is amazingly friendly with excellent service! We will definitely be back!

Location is great. Probably the nicest location and view of a motel 6 I have ever stayed in. Amenities are very simple and few. Have stayed in Motel 6 in places like Las Vegas, so this was a very large step up but still not quite on par with some other competing chains.

When we hung up our jackets on the rack, it fell off the wall. My husband fixed it and we were then able to use it. The floor behind the bathroom door had not been swept in awhile. We will stay here again, though. On another good note, Heather at the front desk was very helpful to us in our room selection, we appreciated her help and sense of humor. She's a keeper!

Great location, excellent staff and rooms. Dog area a bit of a hike, albeit pleasant with great views. Very courteous and knowledgeable staff, especially front desk clerk.

Great place for the price. Was quiet and mostly clean. I would recommend some repairs in the bathroom of 303 and the light over the table needed the bulb unplugged so I handled that my self.

This is the best Motel 6, period. Plush, comfortable rooms, a view of the Rogue River, and deer are fed every morning on the property. Fabulous!

Great location. Beautiful view. We had a refrigerator microwave and the beds were comfortable. The heater you had to turn all the way up and turn all the way down kind of pain. The showerhead could use a little upgrade and the sink was backed up. You had to go get your own towels in the office. That was a little Inconvenient.

Excellent motel 6. Very clean and classy. Obviously updated. Great location and tranquility. Fantastic views. Friendly employees.

Clean Pet Friendly Rooms with good service! Rated four stars instead of five because the quality of the pillows was poor it would be nice to have two full size pillows or atleast 4 small pillows to a bed instead of the two. Made for a rough nights sleep. Otherwise things were great especially the view of the river/ocean from the benches!

I was in a king sized room and the bed was way comfy, room was huge, had a great view of the Rogue and the bridge. Staff was amazing and friendly. Honestly cannot wait to stay here again.

Location was easy to find and right off the freeway, and the woman who helped us at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable we didn’t want to get up! Would definitely stay here again.

Room is spacious and the view is wonderful. I really like that there is a doggy area and that they provide doggy poop bags. The night staff was very friendly and personable and check in. Hot cocoa, coffee, or tea is offered in the mornings after 7am.

Excellent staff. Very welcoming and friendly. Good size room and nice to have a table and chairs as well. I gave a 9 simply because the room is a little old and not in pristine condition. But everything was very clean and fresh smelling and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Very clean rooms, at a very good price. Only problems we found were no coffee pot in room and there need to be lights of some kind installed at the entrance road. Cannot be seen in the dark because motel is above on a hill. We missed the entrance. Also pillows need to be upgraded to fluffier, rather than flat. Otherwise, very satisfied.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location and price were good. Only complaint was that the tub had some hair on the rim. Otherwise, I was totally happy.

The room and location were wonderful. Even the driveway was sorta fun. My one issue was the microwave. I could not get it to work! I don't know if it was broken or just my ineptitude at work. Either way, I ended up with my dinner in the garbage.

Our room was clean and spacious, however we were right next door to the lobby, and the outside lights in the driveway cover were excessively bright ALL night, and the dark curtains were not enough to fully block it. The driveway entrance to go up the hill is not clearly marked, and is easy to miss. Also, the morning clerk guy used foul language as the coffee pot was empty when my husband turned around to get a cup. It was unprofessional. The young lady that checked us in was very nice, and efficient. Overall an ok stay for the money.

\\ People cleaning rooms could speak little English and cleaned room before we checked out. Receptionist when reserving room was very good, but an older guy preferred to sit in his chair when we checked out. It is a fine motel for a Motel 6, but has very tight parking and little space to park trailers. Your apparent trend of hiring help from India, etc at poor wages gives your motel chain and others a very black eye.

This was our first stay at a Motel 6 and our expectations were low but we were pleasantly surprised. We had a fridge and microwave, the king bed was very comfortable and pillows were great. We would definitely stay again. The night front desk staff was very friendly — funny older man who kept us laughing as we got our morning coffee!

This is the cleanest motel 6! The room was spotless and very comfortable. The location is excellent. It overlooks the Patterson Bridge which spans over the Rogue River. I loved my stay and so did my friend.

Everything was great except for no air conditioning. The room was clean and comfortable. I have never stayed in a motel or hotel that didn't have air conditioning. I was shocked to not be able to cool the room. Even a fan would have been helpful because the cool air at night could have been pulled in. The first night was way too warm to sleep and we had the window open all night which is not safe, let alone having people be able to see in the window because we had to leave the curtains open for fresh air. The second night was better because it cooled down over night, but we had to leave the window open again. Even with the window open, we didn't have a cross breeze to cool down. I would have rated this a 4 if we had air conditioning and a 5 if we had a coffee maker. The staff was polite and courteous.

Took an unplanned overnight family trip up to Oregon for a much needed getaway. Found myself in Brookings in the late afternoon looking for a place at a reasonable rate and that would allow for my black lab without expensive or dicey pet policies (especially when reserving through a travel app. ). Ended up bringing up the motel 6 app and finding a location about 20 miles north at Gold Beach with surprisingly good reviews. The staff wad pleasant and helpful in finding is a few local eateries that were exactly what we were looking for. The rooms and grounds were especially clean and well maintained. The location was unexpectedly scenic, with a view of the Rogue River bridge.

Nice Location. Nice friendly, efficient reception. Clean, modern, recently updated room. Good laundry facilities. Slow Wi-Fi as is typical in the entire industry. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was at this price point.

This location is always clean, comfortable, and friendly. We have never had a bad visit. It is a great value, with a centrality to numerous tide pooling locations, excellent dining, and fun beach sites. We enjoy it anytime we visit the coast.

This particular Motel 6 was clean, quiet, and comfortable. This one definitely stands out from other more urban ones that have been less than stellar. I would recommend staying here if you need a place to crash while on a road trip. Vending and laundry facilities were clean and accessible.

I feel like going back and lowering the other locations a 4 or less. We got the jacuzzi room — suite and it was so perfect.

My husband and I always stay at the Motel 6 when we are in Gold Beach The price is reasonable, the rooms are very clean, and the grounds are well tended. We have always had a dog or 2 when we travel and never a complaint. The staff is awesome, friendly, ready to take care of your every need. It is centrally located to where you are close to many attractions.

Exhausted, glad to find a place to stay with my pets for the night. However, waking to a power washer not fun, not relaxing, and very frustrating. It was at 10am on a Saturday morning. Check out time 12 noon. Called the front desk at 10:35 and asked if this was necessary and could it wait till 11am. I was told, "it is almost 11:00 and its part of our routine maintenance as we have to check in people at 3. " I said 'but I don't have to check out till noon and would like to sleep longer' again the response, "it's almost 11:00. " I asked if they could have told me when I checked in to expect this and the response was, "why do we need to inform you, it's our routine maintenance. And it's almost 11:00. " Why do I feel like I'm being reprimanded for wanting to sleep in. So frustrated, tired, and not satisfied! Rooms are clean enough, could use less cobwebs. The rooms are echo chambers so expect to hear your neighbors. Price is affordable, so lesson learned, budget priced motel, does not mean a place to rest.

I travel a lot for work and have stayed in a lot of Motel 6s. This is the nicest one I have seen by far. Very clean and updated inside and out. Only con was no AC unit. It wasn't hot, but I normally leave a fan running while I sleep to cover up noise.

Stayed here for one night during a tour of the west coast. Friendly people and room spotlessly clean. Bed comfortable. Good value.

Booked as we were arriving early and needed a place to stay for the night with our 2 dogs, Motel 6 in Gold Beach called back to confirm a couple of things and informed us one dog was allowed. Might be independently owned as someone else said, but that's not always a good thing as this is different than any other Motel 6 I've ever stayed at with our pups.

The room was advertised as $39.99. When I asked why I was paying $60.00 he said there was only one room at that price and it was taken. I felt like I was scammed. I will never stay there again and will tell others to beware.

Nice place to stay. Room was updated from the last time I stayed, comfortable and well worth the value. View is wonderful and deer on site is fun, especially for children. Close to town, yet traffic sounds are not intrusive. Internet access at no charge is a welcome treat. Will come back.

It's been a very nice experience twice now, at this Motel 6. You can see the Rogue River from the north edge of the parking lot and from the two story rooms. I'm 6'3" and the shower head sprays on my chest but there was good water pressure and temp control just not like at home. Silly to mention but that was the only draw back for me. The staff was very good and rooms were neat and clean plus check out was at 12 so you can sleep in a little bit longer, nice.

Have to say on of the best motel 6 that ive been to. Could mop better but all in all not bad. Sauna looks scary.
