From the moment we walked in until the time we left, we were made to feel welcome, Joseph and Danielle were so amazing, helpful, accommodating, and so friendly, this hotel was so clean, absolutely beautiful rooms, pool and hot tub, I can't wait to go back.

This hotel is my go-to place and half-way point when I drive to the east coast and back though Pennsylvania. I love the large corner room Lakeview balcony suite. Joseph is always a pleasure to talk with and very helpful! Looking forward to my next stay end of October!

This hotel has it all! We throughly enjoyed our 5 night stay. The pool and waterfall hot tub were amazing. The library was a pleasant touch to the hotel. My son enjoyed getting a new book to read each night before bed. Timmy and the rest of the staff were extremely accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely stay again the next time we are in the area.

What a pleasant surprise this location is! We selected it due to the large parking lot available for trucks/trailers and walked in to an amazing hotel that really sets the bar high for every Comfort Suites in the Choice Hotel family. Our king suit is GIGANTIC! Wish we had several days to just stay here and enjoy the view and the spacious room! We also enjoyed the attached Irish pub style restaurant/bar for dinner! Delicious food at a great price point!

We spend two days there and it was the best the kids enjoyed to pool and playing in the reading room and most of all the guy Joseph at the front desk they loved him. 🥰🥰

Very nice indoor pool and jacuzzi; saltwater system no nasty overpowering chlorine. Every employee I've encountered has been pleasant n helpful. Rooms are clean, beds of comfy and the shower is large n great water pressure. The walls are a little thin so I could hear everything in my neighbors room — but they may have been older too, I never seen them but the TV was really loud n when they conversed I could easily hear it. With the pool room pretty much entirely to myself the 4 days/3 nights I was here — that's where I spent the majority of my time. I did use the gym as well — elliptical worked great n free weights available… there's also a 'lap pool' just off the gym but it was temporarily down n I'm not a lap swimmer lol but I thought that was cool (water in it, so not sure why it was temp closed). I enjoyed my "retreat" of a stay so much, I came back a wk later with my kids so they could enjoy a lil swim time n fun in PA. Breakfast is decent daily — seems to always be an egg option, meat side n potato served for hot breakfasts as well as the traditional continental items plus cereals, oatmeal n Belgium waffles. Joseph, the night clerk at the desk — is the BOMB… such a sweetheart with a great personality and very helpful. Lol I was calling him pool boy when he came in to check towels n such 😂😁 Will definitely use this place regularly when traveling through PA or just in need of another "retreat" off the beaten path.

Very nice, clean environment. Heather, from the front desk was super great, extremely helpful and friendly! And Timothy worked hard making sure everyone had everything they needed for breakfast. Great people! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality. Will definitely be coming back for a relaxing stay again.

This is me and my kids favorite place to stay. The rooms are gorgeous. The pool and hot tub amazing! but Joseph at the front desk is definitely it's main selling point. He's so kind and super helpful!

Came here on our way to Indiana and was pleasantly surprised about the quality of this hotel. Nice, renovated rooms, pool, quiet and great breakfast. —plus the pillows were amazing! I recommend this to any traveler.

Though I have not stayed there, I have visited family when they stayed there. My relatives reported good experiences & very good prices. The rooms appear well kept. Easy to find from Rt219 & Rt255. A few miles from either of the fubous exits from I-80. RV & truck parking available. Across the road from a well stocked lake with picnic area.

Wow, this hotel is fantastic in every way: Nice modern and clean facilities. Great work out room with a lap pool attached. Awesome restaurant attached, great food at very reasonable price. If I could find a hotel this nice everywhere my work life would be so much better. Also all staff at hotel and restaurant have been extremely nice, polite and helpful 100%.

Beautifully located in town not far from the highway in front of a nice lake. Our room was very clean and had all amenaties needed. Breakfast was top notch, including hot items freshly made, with fruits, and waffles. Hotel had an indoor pool with slide, hot tub, and water fall. Service was not needed at time of visit, but at arrival and upon leaving, all staff were nice and friendly.

Excellent rooms, kept very clean. The pool and hot tub are always a highlight of our stays here. Hotel staff are friendly and pleasant to work with. Complementary breakfast is always delicious.

Hotel grounds and rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. Small lake for fishing out front and a golf course next door makes this a good place to stay while in town, regardless of your interests. I would definitely recommend to others and would gladly stay here again.

Wasn't sure what to expect since it was off the main roads, but could not have picked a better place to stay. My husband and I have stayed in many hotels over the years and by far this one checked off all the boxes a 5 or above. The staff was pleasant and helpful, the rooms were spotless and smelled fresh as was the entire hotel. The breakfast was hot and plentiful and fresh, even had real butter. Plenty to do with a beautiful pool, library with games and a fireplace. What can I say its nice to see people take pride in their job… Highly recommend and we would stay again. Thank you.

Unexpectedly wonderful place! We just needed a place to stop for the night for our crew of 6 and this was one of the few hotels in the area that could accommodate us. We didn't expect how wonderful this place really is! Great beds room space. Good price compared to the other hotels in the area. Friendly staff and most importantly very clean. I'd we're in the area again we would definitely stay here!

I'm never dissapointed with a stay at comfort suites but this one is way more than I expected! For the price I was expecting just your average clean comfortable hotel but this is way beyond average! Indoor pools with water slide, library, gym, and very roomy suite that is immaculate and super comfortable. As if all this wasn't enough, the staff (Cindy) may very well be the most friendly I've had the pleasure of dealing with. I travel for work and probably stay in hotels about 150 nights per year and it's safe to say this is my best find to date! I WILL be back!

I love this place. It is very nice and very clean. I wish every hotel was like this one. The staff is really nice too. The manager is awesome and so is the breakfast lady. She went out of her way every morning to make sure my breakfast experience was a good one.

Seriously awesome hotel. There were so many amenities I didn't get to use. Which is a bummer. They have a lap pool and a work out area, as well as a jacuzzi and a pool. The room was huge with two beds and also a sitting area that could easily be a place for someone else to sleep. Room was very nice and clean, we had a decent amount channels on the TV. This place is great, I just wish I had more time to take advantage of everything. :)

I’ve stayed at my fair share of hotels and let me tell you, this hotel is top notch! A great location and wonderful amenities. Even a separate lap pool! Breakfast spread was great and room was quiet and clean. If I ever come back to Dubois, I’ll be sure to check in here.

This is my home away from home. When you walk in the doors, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The grand staircase had poinsettias decorating it. The Christmas tree was beautiful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beds are heavenly with many cloud like pillows. The pool and hot tub are great. I love to sit in the hot tub and look out at the pine trees. I just love this place.

Beautiful facility! Clean, well maintained and comfortable. Outstanding pool and breakfast area! No freezer in refrigerator. About 4 miles south of I80, but easy to find with GPS, and worth the drive.

Wonderful modern hotel that was very clean and safe. Great location right beside the golf course and next to the lake. Front desk staff was wonderful and helping accommodate the pack and play for the baby we traveled with. Breakfast was very good and the staff was extremely attentive to manning the breakfast bar. The only negative I could say is that when we woke up there was a sign on the door to the pool area advising it would be closed from 1 to 3 p. M. For a private party. When I travel with my young children we choose a hotel based on the availability of an indoor pool. I only have the baby this time but if I had had the 9 and 5 year olds with me it would have been very disappointing to pay for the hotel play and swim through the day and find that this amenity that was advertised at the time of reservation was closed. At times things must be closed for maintenance and repair but it would have been frustrating to see that it was closed voluntarily when it was otherwise fully functional. To have a party going on in the pool area but still being allowed to use the pool as paying guests would not bother my family at all.

This hotel is immaculate. You can tell they take great pride in it. The housekeeper is definitely do their job well as there was not even as much as a stray hair in my room. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Though we did not have time to eat the breakfast it did look good from what I could see. If I ever need a hotel room again this will definitely be my first choice.

Beautiful place, we enjoyed the honeymoon suite for 3 nights. Service was fast and friendly. Great breakfast. Location was a little hard to find. The service more than made up for it!

Our stay here, albeit a short one, has been absolutely wonderful! Our room was very spacious, comfortable, quiet and above all, very cost effective! Thank you! If traveling through the area again in the future, we will definitely make this a destination.

Well maintained hotel, with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. Free breakfast includes buffet of sausage / bacon, eggs and potatoes. They have a library as well, that is stocked with a good selection of books. Pool area is immaculate! Front desk staffs were very welcoming. Will come back for sure.

Stayed in suite 427. Beautiful room! So clean, and large. Kitchen, eating area, living room with fireplace, comfortable bed, jacuzzi tub. Private balcony with gorgeous view. Best place ive ever stayed!

Elegance oddly enough, located in the middle of a neighborhood! What an unexpected beautiful hotel situated across from what looks really more like a pond more than a lake; but next to a golf course. Hidden Gem I would say.

Providing a four star rating with the pros and cons. We arrived at our scheduled check in time to see that we were given a quiet end room as requested when I called to confirm the previous day with Brooke, whom was wonderfully kind and helpful. Check in staff was friendly enough. Initial thoughts while entering the lobby were "wow" and " this looks really nice. " The hot tub had wonderful jets and a waterfall. The pool was large and had a slide. There should be an age limit to the hot tub however for safety reasons and courtesy for older guests already using it. Our room was the King Suite style and it provided plenty of room. A desk, couch, footrests, king size bed, dresser, large TV, microwave, coffee maker, and other amenities were featured. There was a bit of old grass on the bedspread and a few circular stains on the couch. When I attempted to call the front desk around ten in the evening while staff was available, no one picked up the call. I attempted twice while letting it ring a number of times. The lack of neighbors next to us was wonderful, however the neighbor upstairs was very easily heard through the ceiling. Especially when opening and closing drawers, walking, and closing their room door. For such a nice hotel, I was surprised by the amount of noise. We ended up waking at six in the morning as that is the time they awoke upstairs. Continental breakfast was a nice touch with spacious seating.

The hotel is about a year old. The building is really nicely done and immaculate. There's a nice library and game room. The pool and hot tub were really great and the water slide was an awesome bonus for the kids. The free breakfast in the morning was above average but nothing spectacular. The thing that prevents me from giving it a 5 out of 5 star rating was that it was extremely loud once it was time to actually go to sleep. We heard the little kids jumping around outside and when the next door neighbors decided to talk and laugh at 1am, I got to listen to their entire conversation. The walls are too thin!

Very good place! Front desk was courteous. They helped us get in at a discount rate. We ended up getting there a little late (11pm or so). The room we got was very nice. The hide a bed was a little uncomfortable for an adult, but for kids I think it would be very comfortable. When we went down to breakfast the food was pretty good. The front desk at night said there would be eggs, a meat, and a side. There were eggs, potatoes (country style), and biscuits and gravy. Not exactly what I was expecting, but the food was good overall. I wouldn't hesitate starting again for sure.

Absolutely stunning accommodations. We are avid choice hotel guests and we cashed in one of our free stays. The cherry suite was amazing. Two TVs, desperate living room with fireplace, fridge, etc, whirlpool tub, and separate very large awesome shower, and private balcony overlooking the golf course and fishing lake. Great, very extensive, breakfast, and wonderful customer service. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the Dubois area.

Great location, easy to get to. Wonderful breakfast with whip cream for the waffles. Spacious rooms, clean, and quiet. Pool even had a water slide for the kids. Reading room and workout facilities.

This relatively new hotel is beautiful — — it has a stately look to it, which is further enhanced by the nearby lake. Facilities include a library and a nice dining area. The staff are also very friendly (the usual small​-town hospitality). The best part was that it was a Priceline Express Deal for only $60!

Beautiful, clean interior. Pool side is amazing for families. Hot tub is a great place to relax while the kids have a blast. You can buy a daily swim pace and do not need to rent a room to access the pool.

Almost everything here is perfect. And no fire alarm this time! The living room is awesome. The couch is very comfortable. The ice maker in the room's fridge works very well. The shower is pretty good, but no multiple spray shower head. The whirlpool was great! The housekeeping staff really needs to learn how to clean it, though. I addressed this at checkout and they assured me that it would be checked on.

This hotel is a great place to stay! It's fairly inexpensive to stay there, but the hotel was extremely clean and nice. Great pool and workout room too. Everything looked brand new, but the hotel has been there a while. The room was great except they called the pull-out couch a queen size bed, which kind of ducked since we had 4 people. Overall it was a good experience.

This hotel and its staff were wonderful! If your looking for a clean and yet affordable hotel with a beautiful pool with slide, hot tub, huge library, free breakfast, free Wi-Fi and a very friendly and accommodating staff then this is the place for you! Oh and there is a very nice restaurant right next door and a golf course to which at both of these you get a discount! There is also a lake pretty much right out the front door! We can't thank Karen, Stephanie, Mark and the rest of the staff enough! The staff goes above and beyond! I'm sure glad our West Scranton team stayed at this fantastic hotel!
