Great hotel. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was bigger than expected and very clean. Bed was clean and comfy, towels provided, kettle, teabags, coffee, milk, sugar all provided. Toilet seat was broken but apart from that, no faults. Lots of storage space for your things. Walking distance from everything in Skegness; the pier, beach, shops etc. Breakfast was great — chosen the night before and delicious. Will definitely be staying here again.

Helpfull staff meals are nice. Rooms are clean. Ideally situated near the beach.

A big thank you to a barman on duty tonight! My Son was playing in the band and accidently got Superglue in his eye whilst setting up. His quick thinking of a bowl of water and cloths helped me clear his eye as we were driving to A&E! Luckily all was fine and he was able to come back and join the band. We ended up having a fab night with a great atmosphere. The Band certainly got people up dancing. Thanks again.

The Royal Hotel is a lovely place to go for a nice pint with nice people within a great building.

Good value for money in convenient location close to town centre and amenities.
Check in is by means of a code enabling you to access a key from a lockup box. Property is nicely furnished and decorated with modern facilities. Quiet location. Room smallish but includes everything you need, with comfortable bed, nice shower room and well equipped kitchenette, including fridge, microwave etc.

Easy check in, communal hall area spotless and smelt clean.
Single bed apartment compact but had absolutely everything you would need.
Extremely clean and smelt nice.
Would highly recommend it,
Walking distance to the bars, restaurants and the sea front.

We visit family locally once or twice a year. This is our first stay here since the present owners did their complete makeover of the site and its facilities. We stayed a week in Macey's Cottage: generous well-equipped kitchen, comfortable main room with good TV, double bedroom, shower/loo, separate entrance and lobby. All brand new with everything we needed. Friendly support from Sue. Looking forward to our next visit.

Provided an Easter egg hunt for free. Very nice idea and didn't have to be done. Shame the older children/ teenagers ruined it for the little ones. But they need to have fun as well. Look forward to seeing how they handle it next year.

Beautiful sunday lunch with family and friends food and staff all amazing. Baked Alaska was ace!

Fabulous platinum jubilee afternoon tea the Ashbourne, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the decorations were very patriotic and tastfully done. The food was out of this world, and very tasty. The scones were warm but special mention has to be given to the shortbread crowns, they tasted as good as they looked. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the festivities on New Years Eve. A sumptuous 5 course meal followed Champagne and canapés to start. The King's room was an ideal setting for a fun filled evening. The Piper and live band were a perfect complement to the night. Many thanks to the staff and Chef, we'll be back.

Tea, Coffee but added extras of hot chocolate and bottled water and biscuits on arrival to our room. Helpful staff and we certainly will be back to stay longer.

We were greeted by a lovely lady with a wonderful smile and warm greeting. After showing us to our room gave us a quick guide around. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Sadly, we could only manage a 2 course fantastic meal, prepared by the owner, no room for dessert. We would happily stay again and recommend this lovely hotel. 10/10

I stayed here at the end of August with my Uncle, for a couple of nights. Throughout our stay the staff were really friendly, always accommodating and very helpful. The food in the restaurant was some of the best food I have ever had, it was simply delicious. We had a room on the ground floor, called the Music Room, this was a nice sized accessible room. It had an accessible toilet, with lots of bars to hold and two sinks at different heights.

Love this pub atmosphere is great great people very good service highly recommend.

Very Friendly place. The food is all fresh. And rooms very clean all so reasonable priced. Definitely worth popping in.

We had a lovely four nights stay, amazing b and b, clean, welcoming, lots of choice for breakfast even for vegetarians, thanks to Gemma and John nothing was too much trouble our stay with you was lovely, highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay for a few days in room 2. What a lovely place to stay friendly owners and nothing is too much to ask. We arrived early and was welcomed with a smile, allowing us to drop our luggage off and wait a call for our room to be ready. Everything was lovely about this b and b, clean amazing rooms, great breakfast with a great choice! Will definitely be having another stay a this wonderful place! Thank you for everything!

I have just stayed in this Hotel, for 2 nights, my room was No. 23, it was a nice clean room, I would say the only 2 things that were lacking, was no pictures on the walls to make it homely, and no little lights above the 2 single bed's, didn't work, nor the the one in the shower room above the sink. So it was either the ceiling light, or the light from the Tv. The cooked breakfast was loverly, and yes I would stay here again.

Lovely hotel, it’s really busy which speaks volumes. Food is excellent, kids can’t wait to go to the pool tomorrow. Good size rooms with 2 double beds Dog friendly 10 out of 10 xx.
