Great staff. Very accommodating. Rooms are nice. Breakfast great. Location good.

Just had a gammon steak — absolutely huge — very tasty and excellent value for 10 quid. Staff were very friendly and served the hand-pull pints to perfection. What more can you ask for?

I would say this is the best guest house in Douglas. Have been coming here for the last 11 years. Management and staff very friendly and helpful. Large choice of breakfast. Rooms comfy. A credit to the island.

Very friendly, as good as I have had at Isle of Man, room clean, wish my shower at home was as powerful, cubicle a bit small tho, room cleaned every day. Good wi fi, tea coffee in room, TV etc, quiet at night, my room was on back, did not hear any noise.

Brilliant attentive staff good food good clean hotel rooms clean and comfy. Only down side no air con in bedrooms. We were there in august and it was warm but this said the good service outwieghs this. Thanks to Jake and all the staff for making our stay so relaxing and pleasant.

Second time staying at Adelphi. Good location within a few minutes walk of seafront. On street parking (disc display). Room was clean, comfortable and compact but included all amenities. Staff helpful and attentive. Ample choice at breakfast, service was prompt and efficient. Discovered that several other guests were also ‘return’ bookings which shows that standards are maintained. Great value for money. Several food outlets close by as well as small convenience store.

I was in room 11. This is a single room with a very small shower. Bed was cunfy room was clean. Breakfast was good 1 susage 1 bacon an egg beans and hashbrowns with toast. Tea the owners were very friendly and more than happy to help.

The rooms are a Little dated but very friendly staff and a really good breakfast…

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff, food is excellent and the beer in the bar is great (you've got to try the Bushys bitter! ) All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely apartment. Good facilities, well equipped kitchen, lovely carpets!
Parking is easy, very warm and cosy!

I'm a regular here. Rooms are great and the sea views are worth paying for. The breakfasts have always been superb and I think that they've won an award for them. They're now doing evening meals and roast dinners on a Sunday too. Massive portions and probably too cheap.

I recently stayed at the Ellin Vannin hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I stayed in a ground floor suite (unfortunately no view). The suite was spacious and had everything I could possibly need and more. This hotel provides many extra small touches I haven't seen elsewhere, daily newsletters, personalised notes, yummy daily gluten free cakes, lovely lavender sachets on my pillow and many more extras which made this a memorable hotel. The breakfast was also excellent.

Gillian and Kevin are hard working host they made our stay very memorable and even left our luggage in the room and gave us a room which was user friendly with me having an issues with mobility so thoughtful staff were very friendly and helpful the food was great would really recommend The Devonian to our friends to come and stay for a break you will enjoy just like us.

It was excellent as always, This was our fourth visit to The Devotion. Kevin cooks the most amazing breakfasts. The staff are so helpful. I had bottle of wine to drink in the room and used the plastic bathroom glass. The following day two glasses arrived. So nice to have a small fridge in the room. The rooms are so clean, bright, fresh and lovely. It is so central for traveling all round the Island, very easy to get the Bus or Horse Tram, with less than 5 minute walk.

The Trevelyan is a windy and old building with partially uneven floor but for the price it is actually a really pleasant place to stay. Rooms are smal but clean and very well eqiped. Bathroom was also clean and very nice (the pipes are realy loud tough, eg when someone next room showers or flushes you hear it really loud). Breakfast was nice and good, the staff is also very friendly and always willing to help.

I'm still there and I'm having a fab time the hosts are top draw the place has so much character.

We have just returned from a 5 day stay at The Ascott, the hotel is very nice, the food excellent and the staff wonderful — Sandy, Kylie, Clare and the rest of the team are to be congrautulated on their outstanding customer service.

We were there recently with Rail Discoveries. What a fantastic hotel. The food was brilliant and all the staff were more than fantastic. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Five stars is not enough. They deserve so many more. Chris, Steve, Bob & Ruth.

My husband and I stayed here on Saturday night, room was clean and comfortable. Food was lovely and staff very nice, would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Staff young, friendly, helpful and well trained. Evening meal is a buffet with enough choice to be interesting and is cooked nicely, not over done or dried out as so many hotel meals. Bar prices reasonable. Pleasant room, modern bathroom.

The hotel was fantastic the food was great and the staff were very pleasant and helpful overall a wonderful experience.

Fantastic stay myself, husband, mother in law and molly (pooch), great service from start to finish we were on the 6.15am arrival so they booked us in for half a day so not charged a full rate 😀. Emailed day before with key pick up details couldn't be more helpful, apartment so spacious wanted for nothing had a dishwasher, washing machine Wi-Fi for the husband lol definitely recommend and will be back, thank you xx.

We stayed here for the first time and l would recommend this place to anyone the rooms are clean and cosy and the staff are very friendly and helpful nothing seemed any trouble to them and always with a smile we would definitely stay here again.
