After driving around Vik looking at the various hotel options, I noticed Hotel Kria was the one property without tour buses and vans parked nearby. It turned out to be a wonderful, peaceful oasis. As I got one of the last rooms available, it was front facing on the lower level. It was quiet and amazingly no noise from the street. Large double paned sliding doors provided sunlight, but also prevented street noise.
The lounge/bar area is comfortable and intimate. Also the breakfast buffet is a large selection compared to most properties. A wonderful, relaxing stay.
Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff just not sure it’s worth the expensive pricing. Rooms were a bit small and dirty. Breakfast was free and had a lot of options. I would advertise the Mountain View rooms as an “obstructed” view, however. ……….
