Hotel Cantón Hotel

We booked this hotel in the end of april 2020. Because of Corona (Covid-19) the hotel was closed. We didn't received any cashback or voucher. We did sent several mails to the hotel but they don't respond.

Trip has been cancelled due to no cruises, no airlines operating and the borders to countries are closed, but yet they feel they are allowed to keep money! DON"T bother staying here!

Clean, close to the action and reasonable rates.

Excellent location of the hotel, right in the center, next to the Gothic quarter. Stunning bright new rooms with beautiful interior, absolutely clean. The air conditioning, TV, fridge worked well.

For our budget well impressed with the room and facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Located locally to La Rambla. Would definitely re-book on my next visit to Barcalona.

A very nice place in the city.
There is its own parking lot, which is very important for the center. The improved rooms are good.
Prices are reasonable.

Hotel is not in the best neighborhood but it is clean and has an elevator. If you need a bed and shower place this is good… excellent food just around the corner too.

Very convenient to the city center, simple hotel but in which there is everything you need, very low price compared to the competition. Also good for kids in wheelchairs. Recommended.

Really great hotel in a central location. It's walkable to all the major attractions. It's cheap, clean, and has friendly staff. Easy to find, free Wi-Fi, and we even had a terrace! My only suggestion is to pass on the 5 euro cold buffet breakfast. There are so many places all around to choose from, go eat there!

It's very well situated and very close to La Rambla street and the metro station. But the rooms are very tiny, can be more clean and quiet. Its also very expencive compared to some other hotels in Barcelona owing to it's centeral location.

The hotel is average for the star you have. No Bar and Breakfast is acceptable: a star. What is truly unfortunate is the little shame that foreign tourists have that there has been this last week of February, some rude, voices in the hallway when they come from their p… meetings of the Congress of mobiles or anything else: les Recriminas Which is two, three in the morning… and as I do not understand… Hp. And it's not a question of nationalities, they were from several countries.
And the revolutionary tax of Catalonia is the host…

Hard to get better at these prices. Although the furniture is not very recent, electrical outlets placed slightly at random and the anonymity of the entrance, the hotel has everything in order with the tourist standards. Clean, great bathroom, friendly staff, WI fi and especially an enviable location 2 steps from the Rambla and Barceloneta.

I traded luxury for location this time. The location is really close to Las Ramblas and really close to the subway. The room was OK and the TV was tiny but the hotel was quiet. The bathroom was standard size but modern remodeling. It's a small hotel but I enjoyed my stay there. I'd say it's worth the price I paid for the location I was at.

Lovely staff, perfectly adequate breakfast, basic rooms but clean and comfortable. Air con is quiet and works well. Local area can be a bit noisy at weekends and we had a minor issue with a loud guest in another apartment next to us (until 3am! ) but on the whole it was positive.

Very well situated in the old town. Don't expect a high class hotel, but the beds and shower are ok. Ideal for an affordable hideout in the centre of Barcelona for a couple of nights.

Good place to stay if you're not a picky person. Under 50$/night I would say it offers enough. The hotel is situated really close to Las Ramblas (3 minutes walk) even closer to a "coffee shop" (Remedy is 10 metres away) and the beach is also accessible — around 15 minutes walk. The receptionists were polite and they even offered to keep our bags until evening although we checked out at noon. Overall a good stay.

Cheap hotel directly at the old harbour of Barcelona right on the Rambla. My room was very large, but clean and quiet. The bathroom looked newly refurbished. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed my stay here very.

We were at the Hotel Guangzhou for two nights on 16-17 August. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome (staff who spoke Italian and willingness to advise on routes etc), from spacious rooms with every comfort. Great location very close to the rambla. To recommend.
