Bay of Plenty Hotels

We had a wonderfull stay at rotorua views thanks to the owners who are really warm and welcomming. The rooms are really nice and the breakfast are to die for (i higly recommend the eggs benedict with the hollandaise sauce, specialty of the house)

Annie and Dale were brilliant hosts. Our b & b room was immaculately clean with every comfort provided and an extremely comfortable bed. The coffee and breakfast was restaurant quality. I could not recommend this accommodation more highly.

Mike and Lee were great hosts.
Their place is warm and comfy, stylish and classy.
They know how to look after you but also how to leave you be.
The location, overlooking the lake, is gorgeous and close to the town but out of the ruck.
Breakfast is great — the pancakes are monumental and the scrambled eggs a work of art.
Their tips on the right spas or restaurants or things to do we spot on.

Fantastic place to stay in Rotarua! Beautifully decorated home with every attention to detail for their guests. Mike and Leigh are fantastic hosts and the breakfast is amazing! The linens and towels are top notch, the beds are incredibly comfortable and we loved sitting by the fire in the evening!

Enjoyed 2 nights at the Racecourse motel. Tricia is a a very welcoming and kind host. The unit was immaculate, tastefully decorated with new carpet and furnishings. The kitchen facilities well appointed.

The unit was very clean. Beds are comfortable. Quiet place. Lovely outside decking. The host was great.

Had a 1n stay at the Seascape in a suburban area of Tauranga about a 10-15min. Drive from the beach area. Modern clean accomodation with a choice of continental or cooked breakfast. We enjoyed our continental breakfast. Try Cafe Istanbul about 5min. Drive away … excellent. David and Tatiana were pleasant hosts. Probably the only issue was the uncomfortable mattress.

Had a great stay during our holiday in NZ. Accommodation was very clean and was comfortable. Great talking to hosts David and Tatiana. Breakfast was excellent as well as getting some lunch for the road. Highly recommended!

A lovely place to stay for 4 nights. The room was large and comfortable, the shower excellent, and toiletries all provided. We were welcomed from the moment we arrived and nothing was too much for Maria and her husband, who was happy to cook for us on the BBQ. Beautiful surroundings, only 2 minutes from the 3/4 mile beached town.

This is a lovely b&b. Maria is so welcoming and attentive. Breakfast is outstanding. She brings you a basket with fresh towels, water and chocolate every day. We had the honeymoon suite and it has a lovely private porch where you can sit outside and enjoy the river and wildlife. Short walk to the beach and under 2 miles to town center. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful stay this is the spot.

Helpful staff. Quiet lodgings. Be great over summer. More geared at adults than kids so that is a refreshing change.

Cool place to stay along the coast close to town but just on the outskirts. All the facilities are tidy and they have a nice kitchen. Great place to watch the sunset just down the road.

We received such a lovely greeting from our hosts… very helpful and welcoming. The apartment had everything we could need and a supermarket is just a short drive away. The apartment was clean and well thought out. The only thing that stopped me giving this property 5 stars was that the sofas were so uncomfortable we couldn't sit on them… and we noticed other visitors had commented on this in the visitors' book. This may not be the case in other apartments but still a lovely place to stay.

David and Grace are the perfect hosts: friendly, very helpful and informative on the local area, sights to visit etc. The lodge is set in a beautiful high location with excellent views over the countryside. It has a guest lounge/breakfast room complete with a PC that is available for guests to use.
The rooms are comfortable and well fitted (ours had a sliding glass door onto the rear patio and garden with distant views).
Excellent selection of mostly home made breakfast items.

It was simply amazing staying here. We had a good time, nice clean property by the lake. Good eating options just near the hotel. Take walk around the lake. Beautiful views from the rooms. Enjoy hot water pools and spa. They have small little gym as well.

Had a wonderful stay here. It is an affordable hotel with all the basic amenities in the room. The room is of a standard size and is clean. Facilities in the hotel include free gym (with a good number of machines), and indoor pool area which had geothermal pools, spa and sauna. The private pools require bookings which were fully booked when I was there. A buffet breakfast is also available. Overall, the place is good for families and of a mid range price.

Clean comfortable room. Quiet. Lovely pool and spa. May was lovely and sorted our laundry while we were out.

Booked x2 rooms for the night. Staff were very welcoming, rooms were tidy & quite spacious. Kids enjoyed the spa bath & hot tub with a nice private patio area! Will defs be going back with a few friends.

Quiet, parking a little small but the place is clean and tidy. An Asian lady with good manners greet us and inform us all we need to know clearly.

Best place to stay with your kids. They have mini golf, spa pool, swimming pool, play ground, a flat grass area for kids to ride their bikes, they also have a games room and are also decently priced. Loved our stay there. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed both times I stayed but maybe next time it will be open 😁

Fabulous location, restaurant was delicious and the staff were friendly. The pool was very relaxing, plenty of seating around the pool deck and towels. Unit was brilliant, spa was in a secluded private area out the back. Felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful and quiet. Shower pressure was beautiful and beds were very comfortable.

First time to Athenree Holiday Park and loved it. Unfortunately we were only there for 1 night but next time it will be for a longer stay. Top place to stay. They allowed a late departure so as we could do a little tripping around before we moved on to our next destination. The pools were absolutely spotless and awesome.

Such a great spot! We stayed in our caravan on a powered site which had lovely views and easy access. Hot pools were great, very clean and a nice size. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area and will definitely be back as its the perfect Autumn/Winter getaway spot!
