Great cabins, awesome communial area. Clean tidy camp. Weather wasnt great for us but still enjoyed everything bowentown had to offer… love how close it is to the beach.

A great spot in beautiful surroundings. Amenities are clean and modern and there is a Cafe on site. Katikati is the closest large center but Waihi Beach village is just down the road and has all you really need.

Phenomenal place, we stayed in January 2022 and it was utter perfection. We were looking for something remote as we wanted to just be able to arrive and hibernate comfortably for a few days, this did the trick, the facilities were wonderful, very well kitted out, we spent four days lazing in the gardens reading, walking to the beach for swims, cooking on the barbecue, playing games and relaxing.
Hosts were amazing, very attentive and friendly without being imposing.

I didn't really know what I was booking I the beginning, but the place exceeded my expectations. Was perfect level of comfort and cosiness to be honest. The natural bush around was spectacular and Charlotte was an amazing host. Felt private and we were well looked after. Have recommended to others and will continue to.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hospitality was friendly and very entertaining with the owners and other guests. Off the beaten track but well worth the trip. Next time will bring my fishing rod.

Nice continental breakfast.
Comfy bed and extra space for suitcases.
Good to have a separate toilet to bathroom.
1960s bathroom is about to be remodelled.

Stayed at this lovely b&b. The hosts Tricia and Mike were a joy to talk to. We were in the downstairs apartment, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and when we returned in the evening a log fire had been lit, totally amazing😀
The breakfasts were delicious, home made muesli, yoghurt, scrummy home made jams and marmalade. We totally recommend this wonderful, wonderful b&b and will definitely stay again.

I was unfortunate enough to get Unit 1, right beside Fenton St, so it wasn't as quiet as I could have hoped for but the motel facilities are all you can want and expect. The cup of bubble bath for the spa in the courtyard at the back was a nice touch.

Excellent service, lovely clean place to stay. Very flash for some one like me lol. Staff were all lovely and the spa pool was very clean and nice too. The car park wasn't far from our room so was great to not have to go too far. Great room service too.

Located next to the Polynesian Spa and lake so there is a strong smell of sulphate. Nice old school hotel. They have really good spas and the service is good.

Great location and outstanding service from Philip and his wife at Tuscany Villas. Honestly, this has been the most enjoyable experience compared to any other hotel or motel. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed a great 2 night stay while travelling for work. Friendly staff, clean room and really well serviced. Nothing was too much trouble for the manager. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to visit this beautiful part of the country.

Because of it's wooden stair case banisters and chateau style hallways, the hotel will also be remembered in your visit to Tauranga. These types of hotels are few now and should be enjoyed as part of you vacation.

We stay here regularly as it is central, is reasonably priced and has easy parking. They are working through the hotel giving it an extensive overhaul and the revamped rooms are very nice. The Staff are always pleasant and helpful.

Booked a room through a third party website several days in advance and when we arrived the booking hadn't been showing up on the system. Despite being sold out of the rooms we had booked the Birchwood Spa Motel made room for us and upgraded us to a bigger room for the same price. Very impressed with their service and made what could have been a very unpleasant experience a great one!

Excellent! Good deal. It has a spectacular Jacuzzi and all the amenities.

The owner/operators are absolutely fabulous. Any queries were dealt with immediately. Home away from home. Definitely going back next year. Thanks for your great hospitality and accomodating some pretty over excited Netballers.

Had a one night stay in a unit and even though it was raining, it was so cosyit had everything we needed and also loved the idea of a full size fridge look foward to coming backColin and Sue.
